Nice overview- thx u
Thank you! 🙌🏼
Just closed just closed on my TRX Friday 2021 with 4 thousand miles on excited getting shipped this upcoming week!
That’s awesome, congrats!! You’re gonna love it! 🤘🏼🙌🏼
@@Wimya thanks bro! Always wanted little bummed I wanted the trailer brake and trailer assist and it don’t have it but It has a sun roof lol that’s a positive just gotta find some wheels for it
Nice man, what do you do to comfortably afford a trx?
@@DragginnRoamingI work for the post office
Sick Will! Dude Im 5 months out from my 3 year mark, I just hit 16k miles. Gas in Cali is killing me though....$6.20 a gal for premium in my town....freakin insane considering Im just driving around town at about 8 miles to the gal😪🤑
I literally was going to ask about your tires if they were the originals, Tread looks great compared to mine, then again, I drive mine like its stolen...
Damn!!! I can’t even imagine that fuel bill! Makes me appreciate the fuel prices in FL a little more now! Glad to see another TRX owner who’s stuck with their truck, seems like a majority of us ditched them after a year or so lol
@@Wimya I have had mine for a year and a half. 14,300 miles. Love it
🔥🔥🔥
💪🏼🤘🏼
3 years and only 32,000 miles? I've had my '23 Raptor for 3 months and it already has 12K miles haha. I was in the verge of getting a Raptor vs. the TRX but I chose the Raptor in the end. The TRX is just too loud all the time and I think my apartment complex would hate me if I start it at 6am everyday haha. The quiet exhaust mode on the Raptor makes all the difference in the world.
I regret a tiny bit not buying the TRX, but the Raptor w/ the 37 package is the better choice for me. I spend $700-$800 month on gas with the Raptor and it does 18-21 mpg highway. Probably a lot more than that if I had the TRX haha. Actually, I think fuel cost is the biggest reason people are selling the TRX. There are at least 5-6 used TRXs for sale near me and they've been sitting on the lot for 2+ months now.
@@whocaresjustdoit Yea the fuel economy is pretty rough lol. I have a dedicated work truck & work van so honestly those are used more as a “daily”
So the TRX is a weekend warrior or the gym hauler in the mornings.
But I agree with you, I think a lot of former 5.7 hemi owners jumped into the TRX not expecting the fuel bill to be as bad as it is.
Jeeezz that technician was the best salesman 😂
Still couldn’t sell me on their $300 alignment lol
There’s a trx for sale with 107k miles for 70k you bought yours at the right time for sure
Dang that’s wild!! I was definitely lucky to pick mine up when I did
@@Wimyawithout a doubt lol you could put it back to stock sell it and get your money back lol
Not anymore 😂
Woot
Ayyyy!! 💪🏼🙌🏼
So if I'm looking at used trx.. should I try and find one with 30k or less on the odometer? Didn't know if there are any major service due with higher miles such as 50k or more. I actually would want a warranty just for piece of mind but trx seem rather reliable. Nice looking trx
30k miles is nothing on these trucks. I would just try and find the best possible deal locally to you so you can see it in person. There hasn’t really been any major issues or recalls on the TRX so you’re more than safe. Just be mindful that the 2023 & 2024 have the full digital cluster while the 2021 & 2022 have the analog ones if that makes a difference for you 🤘🏼
@@Wimya that's great to know and appreciate it. I'll probably be looking at a 21 or 22... kinda like the old school gauges 👍 hopefully I'll find one shortly. Not a lot right near me but I'll be patient and find it soon enough.
Does the dealership give you a hard time with warranty after all the mods you’ve done ?
Nope, none at all.
Have you rotated your tires, and is that why your tires are worn unevenly because the rear tires are in the front?
Exactly
When doing an oil change, he should also be draining the oil cooler. I would also do a tire rotation with every oil change.
I opted out of the tire rotation. Trying to wear these tires out at this point. But it was offered. How do you drain the oil cooler? Is there a plug or do you need to disconnect the lines?
@@Wimya yupp theres a plug with a 15mm head
Its super long and a good amount of oil will come out
Dammmn $150. On my regular 2020 Laramie 1500 5.7 I get my oil changed for $30 at my dealer with the constant coupons they send me in the mail.
Yea I use to do my own oil changes on my Rebel for around $50-$60 but I just let the dealer handle the TRX at this point.
I’m looking at a 21’ trx level 2 packaged at 45k miles for $68k. really debating it right now!
Do it!!!! You won’t regret it!
@@Wimya Literally the only thing holding me back is unsure if I could tow a Bobcat with a long trailer if needed, or if the trx can tow 8 yards of mulch 😂
Have you ever tried hauling on yours? Appreciate your vids btw, very informative!
it’s a level 2 package so it comes with the complete towing package as well. trying to find one spec’d out for a really good brice. I think the one i’m looking at may be it!
@@ohfrfr funny enough I’ve actually towed a bobcat before on the bobcat trailer. It squats but gets the job done if need be. If I was doing it regularly I would probably throw air bags in the rear to help the squat.
@@Wimya thanks so much for your response, yeah it wouldn’t be towing stuff too too often. If it came to that point, i would def swap those out. If I don’t end up getting this specific trx best believe im still going to find another 😂 thanks once again dude
Hi. Are you interested in interior car accessories? Thanks😊
Of course!
Then, which way can I show you the details? Facebook or Email?@@Wimya
I pay 326 for a oil change on a unreliable Mercedes 🥲
As a Mercedes fanboy it breaks my heart to see what’s become of MB over the past few years 😭
