Keep at it, you'll have to practice quite a bit to get used to the game. If you look in the bottom left part of the screen, you can see my hotkeys. The hotkey for "4" is actually my "mouse button 4", it's a hotkey that I setup to be usuable on my extra mouse keys.
How do you unlock Jade and Mah-Lind? No one ever mentions that. I've beaten the game many times (not on hard) and still don't see them. Also, what rewards do you get for beating the game on hard? Again, no one anywhere will say.
They should both be unlocked from the beginning of the game, at least they were for me. My video is a a few months old now, so they may have updated the game to change up certain things (as I haven't played Wizard of Legend in the past few weeks). And there is no reward for beating Hard Mode as far as I know. I believe Master Sura will continue to give you the Dark Arcanas if you have not unlocked them all; although it is much easier to unlock them on the normal difficulty.

Perhaps reinstalling the game or verifying the integrity of the game files will help; a quick google search will show you how to do it easily.
