Fun fact: Eric Kripke who created Supernatural and was show runner until he left the show after season 5, went on to NBC and created a show called Revolution that got cancelled after a few seasons, which was why Chuck said "It never went anywhere."

Yes!!!! I'm so happy you reacted to this episode! FYI Jared said this was his favorite Supernatural script of all time. That's why I had to film my reaction to it also lol. Oh! And the thing about "Revolution", that was a very short-lived series by Eric Kripke on another network. Little dig at Mr. Kripke there. : )
The way Metatron’s face was and the way Chuck sang that last part ” One of these days, it won't be long you”ll call my name and I”ll be gone. Far thee well, oh honey, far thee well” He was saying goodbye. that's why Metatron looked like that. Chuck, his father, was saying that he was going to die for his creations. The suicide note it wasn't just the book, it was about the song too. One last miracle, one last gift to humanity. Saving the Winchesters because they would have to protect the Earth. Because now they would be on there own. (and I did see a comment like this and that's where I got some of it from. Not my theory) but this part is my theory, I feel like he was controlling them a little bit, but after this and after he almost died because everything was unpredictable, that's when I think he started to make everything his way and that's when the whole incident in season 14 happened on the last episode
It is one of the best episodes, isn't it? I thought I might just be biased because I love Rob Benedict(Chuck) so much but it's more than that. In my opinion this episode is at least one of the top 3 episodes ever. What did you think of Rob's singing, by the way?
I also love Rob Benedict, not only for what he's been through, but just for being an amazing person and friend to all of us...whether he meets us or not...he still cares about us...He knows we are there watching...He always has and always will hold such a near and dear place in my heart, and that will never change. I have found where I belong...and I am never letting that go...Ever ❤️❤️
