- A Virginia jury has reached a verdict in Johnny Depp's defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard. Depp is suing Heard for defamation over a 2019 op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018 in which say calls herself a ‘public figure representing domestic abuse.’ The op-ed did not mention Depp’s name.

Bottom line, Amber has done MORE DAMAGE to herself than the initial harm she did to Johnny! Apparently, she did NOT believe he would bring those damaging accusations to Court, but she learned otherwise! I was NOT, nor have ever been a fan of Mr. Depp's, after listening to what she did to him, MADE ME A FAN! I sincerely HOPE that she and all who LIED for her UNDER OATH, receive Prison time, for they darn well DESERVED & EARNED IT!

It's a setback when women who out of malice lie about being victims are caught up in their own lies because that affects negatively REAL victims of abuse, it unfortunately affects their credibility. It's just wrong to lie about such a delicate topic. Heard is not a victim, she is/was only playing a part.

One thing that really touched me, apart from the verdict, was how Johnny's team hugged and congratulated each other. And when they were all leaving the courtroom, the last guy waited for the female to exit before him 47:40.

After hearing the verdict, I literally cried for JD who was reluctantly carrying these lies on his back for 6 years! Tears of joy! I'm so happy for him. Finally he showed the world that he was the victim. It took a lot of toll on him, yet finally he chose to stand against and stop her false and disgusting allegations. Men can be victims too! Yes she lied but it was up to the jury if she lied, now that answer is out. Legally speaking a lawyer can tell you the exact same. Charges cannot be brought up in middle of the case, it was question if she lied or not.
Even if it SEEMED she lied which she clearly did, if the jury had decided here that she was abused and Johnny is the one lieing then it would say her lies on stand were "truth".

That didn't make sense to me either...
That's not really what that counterclaim was saying. It's not about "believing the other statements" but rather whether Mr. Waldman's statements were defamatory in nature and made with actual malice. While he may have truly been motivated because he believed in her perjurious behavior (which I do too), I understand how the jury could come to that conclusion about Mr. Waldman's statements.
I bet Johnny donates the rest of Ambers “pledge” when he gets her money
