The thing I dislike about Twitch the most is their TOS guidelines enforcement inconsistencies and favoritism. There are far too many examples of streamers of higher prominence getting a slap on the wrist or, at most, a temporary ban for an offense that would be grounds for termination. Smaller streamers get terminated like this all the time, but no one hears about it because it’s too few to make a fuss. They also factor gender into the decision as well, as streamers of equal popularity will have wildly different consequences for the same offense because one of them happened to be female. I don’t like making assumptions about a particular group based on isolated incidents, but it’s too frequent to ignore the white knight simping. There is a bizarre power trip problem with Twitch’s enforcing agencies and they should be adhering to a system rather than arbitrarily determine your sentence based on how important you are to them.
