  • See what boards Britt had with him upon return from WSL’s Margaret River competition. Britt’s board bag-known as the “Team Traveler Wheeled”-can accommodate 6 to 8 boards, has internal straps and a few pockets to stash extra gear. This bomber-built bag boasts more 20mm foam paddling walls than any others on the market. Britt typically travels with two or three of his own boards, which run on the thick side due to his 6’6 frame. Additionally, he often takes fresh boards over to an event for our teamriders, or brings back their magic boards for use at a later event or for reference when they reorder boards.
You can see CI’s newly updated line of Travel Board Bags at a surf shop near you or here on our site: cisurfboards.com/collections/...

Fun fact, Britt once called someone else off a wave because it was my turn. He rules!

thats rad britt. the filled bag weight is impressive, and the wheels are an excellent idea. the bag size is great, and its cool to see even day bagged boards in there with room to spare. the pads are a great ideas, as is the fin and accessories bag, and the zip compartments. great for the traveling surfer, which i am not, at least not on a plane anyway, and not far distances. if im traveling id like to go to a place for a season and stay there. no short trips. in other news, ive been riding my rook 15 and loving that blade so much, especially on fast steep waves. if there is by chance an actual dumpster that i could dive in (or an old barn or storage unit to find some inexpensive very affordable and not in perfect condition low risk (so i don't have to worry about possible damage while paddling into closeouts, shallow breaks, etc), but that still perform well, then i would be interested. i cant afford new prices and my heart cant handle the stress of pristine boards getting their first, and subsequent pressure dings and other cracks, etc. i like the rounded pin tail (my favorite tail style) rook, which is a 6'2" and basically want more of this kind of thing with solid good rocker sharp nosed blades in the same or other sizes so i can keep charging hollow waves or anything sort of pounding and so called 'novelty' (but preferably as big of A frame peaks or big clean hollow makeable waves as possible, without crowds of course. ill take lesser quality wave for less crowds every time). probably 6'2" to 6'6" :) anyway, hoping to the be crawling through the dumpster and finding some old but still good gems that are so affordable that they are almost 'free' soon :) oh, and one bit of bad news, the 6' CI leash that i bought with this board is the worst leash ive ever had. the hex thing is a bad idea in my opinion, and the leash literally gets tangled around my ankle several times a session, sometimes at the least opportune times, such as when im padding fast to the shoulder of what is going to be a fast steep drop into a probable but hopefully not closeout. i hope you redesign the leash and make it more rubbery or mailable, not so stiff, so that the oval coil bends are not permanent. just some constructive criticism :) ok, im outtie 5,000 :)

@@jellybean90 great, unless you actually work for channel islands, to who it was directed, i could not care less. also, im not surprised that you are not reading that, especially as i am encountering an increasing number of illiterate 'kids', especially millennial and gen z males who think they know it all and have it all while their generation unravels at the seams and their pretentious influencer social media vs real life facade begins to crumble, revealing truth, while actual economic, mental health, substance abuse / addiction, affordable housing, and other serious 'issues' raise their ugly heads. and now that you mention it, i sort of wonder why i even wasted the time to write it in the first place, especially in a largely seemingly snarky douchebag dude / bro forum (in my personal opinion). i probably should just start acquiring pyzels and stay silent :)
