yep I agree....how much does a ticket cost to a women's game versus a guys.....I'm guessing that the men's team will likely generate more....no different to the comparison in basketball
Gerard McNamee should the amount matter? If you’re generating more money for your employers than someone else then there’s an argument you should be paid more or at the very least equally, what if I’m your job you generated £10000 but got paid less than someone who generated £500 you’d be protesting it as well
Mariah Carry I would actually say when equal profit is made. If you have to spend more on marketing/costs to generate that revenue, then the women aren’t actually shouldn’t be paid on the same level for equal revenue. But I agree with you in principle.
It's not necessarily about generating equal revenue although that's a part of it. One of the key points was that they agreed their contracts as a collective bargaining arrangement. They wanted the base salary instead of the bonus based structure that the men get. If in 2017 they'd backed themselves to win so consistently then they'd have been paid significantly more than the men's team since then. They played it safe and have been paid accordingly. However, nobody forced them to bargain for the consistent salaries and not the bonuses.
@Christopher Fair oh piss off..maybe people just like the us mens because the quality is decent who are you to call them suckers... womens football sucks anyway..loose balls, sloppy passes..
Plain and simple, when women's football is as entertaining to watch as men's I will agree they deserve equal pay. Right now they are league's apart. It's actually embarrassing watching some of the women's matches.
@@arliny610 and they earned more, women earn 13% of revenue and have a salary on top of of it, the men earn 9% and have no salary, the women earned more than the men in 2016 because it includes their WC campaign while the men didn't qualify for the first time since the 80's. but that isn't what the lawsuit is about, the lawsuit is about how men are paid more than women if both teams hypothetically won 20 games, and it all boils down to how the men earn more because they bring in more money to help warrant their earnings, not as many people watch women's soccer, ergo they earn less money; they have less money to distribute to the players, their bonuses are determined on whatever the USSF makes on their players, the women make less for the federation, so they get less money back. want to help women's soccer? go and watch their games.
The England youth teams have won more major tournaments than the English national team. Does that mean the youth teams should get paid more money by the federation than the national team??????????????????????

@@lordainz8816 Yes, and at the end of the yr USSF can tally the total FIFA payout from both teams and divide it equally IF THEY WISH. They meant "leave out FIFA" in terms of having no control over the disparity in pay to the men's and women's WC winners, etc.
This! They agreed to be paid a salary for their commitment, NOW they want a different agreement as soon as they saw the men not qualify for the World Cup.
Contracts are meaningless today. I take it none of you watch any other sports, particularly their off-season, when ESPN constantly discusses players leveraging to get out of contracts, holding out of training camp, demanding trades, and using the phrase OUTPLAYED MY CONTRACT. There's a case to be made for no equal pay. "Signed an agreement" is not one of them.
The logical counter is initially USSF offered the USWNT the same contract they offered the USMNT however the the USWNT rejected the contract. The USWNT did not want a risk/reward style contract but instead opted for a contract with less bonuses but more guarantees in salary and other benefits. This is not a case about equal pay this is a classic labor dispute in which 1 party realized the contract THEY bargained for was inferior after the fact so now they want to retroactively rewrite there contract without going through the proper channels and arbitration. minnowshark no they don’t make more than the men. In terms of money and viewership it’s not even close. The level of competition in men’s and women’s soccer is completely different. If the under-15 boys team that beat the US Women 5-2 wins more trophies than the Men’s national team at the youth level, doesn’t mean they deserve to be payed equally. It does not matter if you are the best captain in the world of the waste barge. A Mediocre Fleet carrier captain is always much more impressive.
D Gray ok but what if that waste carrier won the last two world cups while the men failed to qualify, have sold more shirts than the men, broke viewing figures in America for a football match, generate a higher income for their national federation at the international levers than the men, boosted sponsorship and marketing revenue but still got paid less, if this was an argument at a club level I’d agree but it’s purely international and they’re outperforming the men both on and off the pitch
@@cameronconnor9911 If it is just a matter of revenue internally then I would agree. But I wonder. Add revenues is not decided by the league itself. In my country it just doesn't work. Women simply do not come to the stadium to watch a match, while the mens team has a full stadium. How about women just watch and come to the stadium. Then maybe they make equal or even more. I am perfectly fine with women making just as much as men or even more. But pay people equal to their work, not because of equality itself. As long as I see emtpy stadiums and lower views and Gillet best a man can get during women's match 15 min break. I doubt they actually make just as much.
D Gray are you talking about club football? This is purely internationally and over 4 years they’ve generated more income for their employers than the men’s team in every single aspect while winning back to back world cups
These guys sound so ridiculous that this really should not be allowed to be aired. This is pure false information or "a distortion of facts and reality". They know damn well that without qualifying for the world cup, the US men's team still generates more revenue than the women's team. This women's world cup was not even shown in some countries. EVERY conversation about pay MUST begin with revenues. The politically correct media and feminist movement run from this truth.
They're only saying this because their wives will deprive them of sex if they state their true feelings. I'll bet the locker room conversation is way different :)
“Let’s take that out of the equation” Oh yes yes, let’s take the most important aspect of this argument. Revenue. Are you kidding me. Totally biased, if you want equality, have the US men take on the US women if you think performance is everything. This is why I watch first take instead of these child predators.
Everyone seems to be putting their own spin on this issue. You cannot compare apples and oranges. Regardless of FIFA, If the womens team is guaranteed 100K plus win bonuses, and the men just get win bonuses, then the performance bonus should be appropriately more for the men as they are not guaranteed anything. I don' necessarily agree with an 89%, but if that is what the CB negotiations settled on - Less of a performance bonus if 100K salary is guaranteed so be it. You can't expect different win / loss ratios to equate to one another based on different criteria. Either pay the women using the same formula as the men, or pay the men using the same formula as the women. Then everyone can shut the hell up.
Why focus on a 20 game Scale? Yes, sure as per their CBA's, the men could earn $28,300 more than the women over 20 games, but a man who only plays 1 game and gets injured would earn between $5,000 to $17,625 for the year; where as a women who plays 1 game and gets injured would earn from $100,000 to $108,500 plus medical and other benefits. Why? The women's CBA has a base Salary $100, 000 plus medical and other benefits but low bonuses; where as the men have Zero base salary but very high bonuses. It is a choice between risk vs stability. one party negotiated for stable and reliable pay check, where as the other negotiated for risky paycheck but with a high possibility for more earnings. You can't have it both ways, you either drop the base pay for a high bonus structure like the men, or keep your base pay, plus benefits and a lower bonus structure.

They do it for prestige and Patriotism. They need to be begged to play. And they might very well refuse because a potential injury might harm them short/long term, because they dont care, because the club advises them to stay back because they needs to calculate the potential risk for their sporting aims etc, etc... With the women the situation is a different one. Their league went bankrupt at each attempt and is now financed/kept alive by the US Federation because they could not refinance investment & wages with viewership, attendance, Marketing and so on. Their "league" basically only exists to have a team for the Olympics, the female world cup, and the "She believes" cup (what a needy name...seriously) They dont need to be begged to play for their country because the whole league construct just exist for those 3 events that people will actually tune in...at least americans will. And the harsh truth is that the guy who doesn't need to do something can ask way more then the one who can actually be happy that the service he provides is requested at all

I think what they failed to bring up was that the USWNT also get other bonuses such as Health care, dental care, maternity leave, etc. while for the men those things are covered by their respective clubs. So if you solely base it on what they are gaining from their national team, the USWNT gets more benefits, therefore, the funds are used for those benefits rather than in the form of income.

I really don't think you can disregard the FIFA payment amounts. FIFA and the Continental Federations (like continental: UEFA, CONCACAF, etc.) are the real revenue generators. CONCACAF still brings in a good bit revenue which goes to the men. Also, people keep making the argument that the men didn't make the world cup. The past world cup wasn't that good and most of the teams are going through a renaissance. The Dutch got rid of a lot of older players for example. IF the men's team DID make it would we really be having this conversation? I think the problem really is this (which Europe has been actually fixing)….They do not advertised the continental tournaments for the women's team well at all. They don't have a club champions league set up for with CONCACAF and the women's league has only 12 teams. The men's team competes in both the FIFA and continental tournaments like the Gold Cup, Confederations Cup, World Cup, and the rarity of the 2016 COPA America. The international friendlies bring in a lot of revenue as well because you can see world class stars. In the end you cannot take out the FIFA or CONCACAF revenue because that helps fund the federation. Also, all the other women teams have finally caught up with younger talent. Once the US super stars are gone will they really be able to compete with the European teams who's player's train at well established clubs like both the Manchester teams, PSG, Lyon, and etc.? Those teams get massive funding from the club because they're linked with heavy backed established money teams. The USA teams have had three teams fold (really just one the other two moved) and started in 2012. The MLS has almost 2 decades one them.

@@fallingalice2601 but the argument is based on the amount of the revenue brought in by both teams. If you exclude revenue from FIFA then you are only looking at a small fraction of the total worth of the team (every federation has to register with FIFA in order to compete in the big international tournaments). That is like a production company saying' "Oh are movie only gross a $50M profit for the US market, but the film made $2B internationally.... I guess there is no sequel." No they are going to make a sequel because it racked in a lot of money. You have to account to where all the cash flow is coming from otherwise you put yourself at risk of creating a huge NOL and potential folding because you cannot sustain operations.
@@fallingalice2601 So.... you are saying that the US National Teams do not receive any revenue from FIFA at all based on the all the international games? Also, the women's team recently became the more relevant one, and Rapinoa said it herself for the people to come out and support the woman's soccer league. If anything this is more of a league issue. Like I said before, Europe has done a way better job of this by allowing the men's professional teams to sponsor/create female teams. UEAFA has done a better job by creating a woman's continental club tournament. That's why if you noticed some of our younger female stars are heading to Europe. The overall structure for both the men and women's teams in the US are bad, but the men have a more stable structure (but I still hate it). I mean even the men's national team do not solely rely on USNT pay but more so club and sponsors. Plus if you do look solely at the numbers paid proportional to the revenue then the real story is the men's team gets paid 11-13% of the revenue they bring in verses the nearly 20% of the revenue related to the women's team.

It's simple ! Don't overthink it ! Tell me what club these women play in and the salaries compared the the men ! They simply don't generate money it's the simple truth.
What you said has nothing to do with the argument...the lawsuit and the argument is that the US womens team generates MORE revenue than the US mens team, yet the US Federation pays the womens team less in almost every scenario (only if the US mens team lost every single game would the pay be the same). Same with the boys team. On the other hand tickets were sold for football and basketball and the stands were packed! That is the bottom line, thank goodness for the free market and being able to choose what we want to watch and cheer for.
@book marks right, because women should just shut up and accept what is given to them. it's not just about the pay, it's about the conditions as well. these ladies are trying to make it better for future women athletes. you may not care about it, but you're a man and not a women and you already have more opportunities and better pay just because of your gender. stop saying they are 'complaining'. they are fighting. there's a big difference.
i have a whole team of salespeople who would rather get paid straight commission/bonus ONLY rather than salary because once they start 'winning' they make a whole hell of a lot more. i think the women would love to make the same bonus % as the men, have they're hotel and travel accommodations taken care of by the federation (like the men's) and that their training conditions were as awesome as the men's. imagine that! cuz the women would have just made a whole lot more $$$$ since they've won the World Cup for the 4th time since 1995. The men haven't even placed since 1930 and that was 3rd.
🤣 Good way to settle it. Didn’t the women’s team play the U15 boys team and they got creamed? They lost to a group of under 15 adolescents, now the those boys should be asking for equal pay! Fucking unfair! EQUAL PAY EQUAL PAY!

They can't physically be paid the same if their sport isn't generating the same amount of money as mens, it's got nothing to do with sexism or anything. The winners of the womens world cup actually got a bigger percent of the total amount made from the tournament than the mens did in the 2010 world cup, however because of the difference in how much the men and womens world cup made in revenue the men obviously get a larger amount. it's business at the end of the day.Oh and the level is nowhere near the same.
obviously didnt listen to the video? the whole argument is that the mens team get a higher percentage of the money that the US football federation get from fifa for the world cup than the womens team do... All you needed to do was listen to what they were saying
probably because the mens team aren't winning it constantly like the womens team are though? not even close to contesting for a world cup. lets be honest which team therefore needs the money most to develop in their side of the sport? the mens.
I get that but that's down to the US federation once they get the money from FIFA on what to spend the money on. I can sort of see their point in paying the womens us team more than the mens when it comes to international tournaments like the world cup but even if they did match the percentage or even doubled it, it would still probably be nowhere near the amount the men get paid because of the budget they have
First of all, they were offered the same exact contract as the men and they REJECTED it! The men have a pay-to-play contract with a huge bonus for wins. But if they don’t play, they get nothing! The women get a guaranteed $100k annual salary for a minimum of 20 players, a huge benefits package and small bonuses for wins. What they want is to get the all of the upside of the men’s contract with none of the risks of getting NOTHING if they don’t play!
The US men’s team has to play men while the US women’s team beat a bunch of women working at a nail salon in Thailand and French women who couldn’t even execute a basic pass🤷🏻♂️
How much do both parties generate in revenues? Put aside all the sentimental feelings. They should be paid based on how much they generate... If the women generate more revenues they should should be paid more. If they don't they shouldn't.
In a way it really is that simple, but everybody has their agenda to crowbar into this. It gets more complicated when you consider that they have different contractual agreements with the USSF and the differing degree of importance for national games that both teams have. But you'd be surprised (or not) how few people know that that is the actual argument when looking through these comments.
They should play US men v US women. If the result is a draw, then pay them equal. If the men win then they get more, in line with the scale of the win. If the women win same.

Compensation is a reflection of market value. Not some fantasy based on emotion and wishful thinking.
@Vegalus better to split the federation and let them run independently for men and women and see who comes better, also make sure at the grass roots level money from womens soccer is not invested in men's facilities and vice versa, once we have equalized all these factors we can have an apples to apples comparison. And we all know which side is going to win. Even better lets abolish sexism and make it one sport, only the best are allowed to play and weed out mediocrity.
@Vegalus Not trolling here, I legit tried to look that up and legit couldn't find it. If you can post a link to an article or 2 for people to read that would be helpful.

@Vegalus Market value determines compensation. Revenue and profit are not the same thing. Men's pro club teams generate enormously greater revenues, particularly in Europe. Nobody watches women's club soccer...anywhere. Men's WC teams are compensated by the world cup, who's revenues are in the billions. Fact is, they can't even stay on the same level as prepubescent 15 year old boys high school teams they scrimmage against. Why should they be compensated otherwise?
They negotiated for a different pay structure than the men did. It's just that simple. Their lawsuit is the equivalent of requesting to be salaried and then demanding additional money because you realized you're putting in enough hours to have done better being an hourly employee. If the women are unsatisfied with the results of the pay structure they negotiated for and agreed to they should request to negotiate a new contract.
Whoever brings in the most revenue and sells the most tickets should be paid more... Right now the women win More games and get better ratings than the men... So your statement is only accurate to a point. Not to mention that women have a guaranteed base salary of 100k a year whether they play or not. This does not exist for the men. Further, woman signed the contract so this was not some we had no choice. Their union s failed to get them a good deal so they should sue their players union. but that isn't what the lawsuit is about, the lawsuit is about how men are paid more than women if both teams hypothetically won 20 games, and it all boils down to how the men earn more because they bring in more money to help warrant their earnings, not as many people watch women's soccer, ergo they earn less money; they have less money to distribute to the players, their bonuses are determined on whatever the USSF makes on their players, the women make less for the federation, so they get less money back.

Oh yes yes, let’s take the most important aspect of this argument.
You can't have it both ways, you either drop the base pay for a high bonus structure like the men, or keep your base pay, plus benefits and a lower bonus structure.
think you will lose people at "you can't have it both ways"
@@fallingalice2601 -- Denise -- nah, his point is valid. women negotiated a higher floor and other considerations so from a numbers point of view it's not crazy that their ceiling is lower........ i don't mind if they get paid more, uswnt has done very well. but the "equal pay" idea is a bunch of talking points that don't actually add up.......... also while i'm not impressed with usmnt recent results either, it's amusing to see people resort to insulting the mens team in a debate that's supposedly about "equality"

I may have spoken a bit too bluntly, but USWNT are indeed trying to have it "both ways".
I watched an NBC interview where host Savannah Guthrie asked Rapinoe and Morgan openly that 'If US Soccer offered them the same compensation structure as the Men, would they be willing to give up their base Salary for equal pay with the men?' Rapinoe was evasive and then said; " I think it is okay that compensation structure is different'" Alluding to the possibility that they'd like to retain their base pay but enjoy a bonus structure in keeping with the men.
What do you call that? Other than trying to have it both ways?
@@danedds1068 I see your point and indeed they are trying to have it both ways, and it's understandable after so many years of outperforming their male counterparts you can see clearly their point, they are 4 times world champions the dudes can't even beat Mexico on regional tournaments, the uswnt plays to win and to be successful, the usmnt they are just a bunch of over paid clowns, and I think this time I am the one speaking bluntly...

I think one of the problems is never mentioned. A MLS Football Player, who is into consideration to play for the US Team, will likely earn a pretty decent wage at his club. There's a lot of international Mocking about the MLS but for the level it has it has quite good attendance and viewership.
In short: They don't need to play the world cup.
Their "league" basically only exists to have a team for the Olympics, the female world cup, and the "She believes" cup (what a needy name...seriously)
They dont need to be begged to play for their country because the whole league construct just exist for those 3 events that people will actually tune in...at least americans will.
And the harsh truth is that the guy who doesn't need to do something can ask way more then the one who can actually be happy that the service he provides is requested at all
Yep I'm glad someone caught that.

I think what they failed to bring up was that the USWNT also get other bonuses such as Health care, dental care, maternity leave, etc. while for the men those things are covered by their respective clubs. So if you solely base it on what they are gaining from their national team, the USWNT gets more benefits, therefore, the funds are used for those benefits rather than in the form of income.

it is disingenuous to facilitate your argument of revenue based on years where the men's team didn't play much games while the women played in the 2019 world cup for instance, you are construing a narrative that the national women's side has more viewers than the men because you limit viewership numbers inside a window where the men didn't qualify for the 2018 WC, limit it to 2014 and you wouldn't be able to stand on that argument because it would be a level playing field where women's soccer gets dwarfed compared to the men's.
the world cup is the anomaly, not the trend, the women's team generates less revenue on average per game than the men's team, that they generate more income as a result of playing more games comes to the surprise of nobody, limit both teams to just 20 games and let's say, either the world cup games or friendlies they play, and you'll see why the women earn less, it is because the world doesn't care enough about the women's sport compared to the men.
"The U.S. Women's team has set records for T.V. audience reach" inside the US, yeah, let me know when people globally care about women's soccer, because that's where the men's revenues come from which is what the women are competing with.

I hope the mens footballers will have enough self respect to refuse to play after this treatment
The men's team released a statement in favor of equal pay for the women's team.
@@fallingalice2601 They aren't doing equal work. That's like a high school coach demanding equal pay after winning a state championship as Pochettino who hasn't won a single cup at Spurs. Or Kevin Cron (a AA minor league baseball player) demanding more money than Mike Trout (arguably the best player in major league baseball) because he has a better stat line. What the USWNT has done is incredible.... but it is relative to significantly weaker competition.
@@fallingalice2601 "This is about the legal obligation of the U.S. Soccer Federation to abide by U.S. equal pay for equal work laws."
There is no such obligation in sports. At most jobs, effort and skill at least approximately track productivity. Yes US soccer wanted to give them a similar contract like the men's.... bonuses per game, bigger bonus if you won the match. But the women's team wanted a guaranteed base salary instead (with smaller bonuses if they won). So the USWNT got the guaranteed money contract they wanted but then realized later they would've made more money with the contract the federation was originally trying to give them since the USWNT pretty much stays unbeaten they would gotten big bonuses for all the matches they won. Instead they played the safe card with a guaranteed money contract 🤣🤣 now they're upset they got what they wanted and it didn't work out.

Good way to settle it. Didn’t the women’s team play the U15 boys team and they got creamed? They lost to a group of under 15 adolescents, now the those boys should be asking for equal pay! Fucking unfair! EQUAL PAY EQUAL PAY!
@@Alex-V.S lol 😂😂
@ Luke Fister.since your so funny why don't the men play against the women in the tennis single at wimbledon? seeing they are paid the same, not so funny now are ya
Victor Alexander in tennis the men play 3 games and the men pay 5 for each tennis match, but they are paid the same, so it could be argued that the women are being paid more than the men if you work it out on a game by game basis.
they want equal pay, the spectators want equal skills.....unfortunately thats genetically impossible.......
Women played it safe, they chose higher minimum/lower max than lower min/higher maximum.
Women didn't want performance based contract. LOL
This video is a perfect example of why I stopped watching anything ESPN, Illogical and ignorant!
And yet here you are watching an ESPN video and taking the time to comment.
@@bradromans4719 I viewed it for research for a gender pay disparity study. And again ESPN shows their true colors.
@@Vandy13 I can agree with you that ESPN is not what they used to be. They have become the worldwide leaders in sports gossip. Politifact published an article about equal pay for the women's team with very few opinions, mostly numbers and sources. Might be worth a look for your study.
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. You cannot start a discussion about pay by choosing to ignore revenues.
Why does an NBA player average 3x more salary than an NFL player when the NFL generates more than twice the revenue?
carliboricua because the NBA roster carries 13 players while the NFL carries 53. Plus the NFL career last 2.5-3 years while nba players tend to last significantly more
All 3 of them are doing their best to argue without getting CANCELLED 😂.
Yep, it makes no sense, you're right: women should be paid WAY less. And not only in sports.
All you needed to do was listen to what they were saying
probably because the mens team aren't winning it constantly like the womens team are though? not even close to contesting for a world cup. lets be honest which team therefore needs the money most to develop in their side of the sport? the mens.
@@MrSamuel12363 but its money for wages not for the development of their ability
Frank Williams the USA national woman’s team couldn’t beat me and my friends..
Where is my 100,000 a year.
U deserve it , this inequality has to stop🥴✊🏻
How Golic and Wingo don’t have brains “doesn’t make any sense.”
they are being told to push this by their handlers.... if they don't, they get fired...... they are LibTard sellouts which is sad
They're only saying what Disney is telling them too
They lost 5-2 to a u16 men's soccer club. How much should we be paying those young men?
How much do both parties generate in revenues? Put aside all the sentimental feelings. They should be paid based on how much they generate... If the women generate more revenues they should should be paid more. If they don't they shouldn't.
In a way it really is that simple, but everybody has their agenda to crowbar into this.
It gets more complicated when you consider that they have different contractual agreements with the USSF and the differing degree of importance for national games that both teams have. But you'd be surprised (or not) how few people know that that is the actual argument when looking through these comments.
The boys under 15 team will still beat them.
And the Womens' Soccer team bring in more revenue than the men. Ticket sales over 10 years is $51 million for the women, $49 million for the men.
Why should they be compensated
otherwise?
Calvin Miner wow, a whole $2 mill more 🙄. Not really helping your cause tbh
Why don't we pay the WNBA same as the NBA while we at at it 😏
They negotiated for a different pay structure than the men did.
Meritocracy ... yes men vs women if they draw they get equal pay... if they win they can get higher pay
Whoever brings in the most revenue and sells the most tickets should be paid more... Right now the women win More games and get better ratings than the men... THIS IS THE ONE CASE IN SPORTS WHERE THE WOMEN GET MORE REVENUE... Therefore they should get paid more... The MEN DONT EVEN QUALIFY FOR THE WORLD CUP while women dominate... the facts are CLEARLY IN THE WOMENS FAVOR!
@@JUDALATION 100% agree with you
@@JUDALATION you have to take into account the levels of competition, women's soccer is Sunday league level, i mean they cant even beat 15 year olds, while the men actually play tough opponents
Paying them equal would be like paying a good team from the 7th division of a league the same as a decent team in 1st division
JUDALATION gamestrodamous well it depends on your metric.. if you include 2015 fiscal year to present the men made 10.8 million more in revenue than the women only if you exclude the men’s previous World Cup cycle where they actually qualified and include this one where they did not does the women earn more. So your statement is only accurate to a point.
Not to mention that women have a guaranteed base salary of 100k a year whether they play or not. This does not exist for the men.
Further, woman signed the contract so this was not some we had no choice. Their union s failed to get them a good deal so they should sue their players union.
We should also take in the amount they earn from fifa friendlies which is higher for then men
And finally wouldn’t the best solution be to combined both the men and women’s teams? Then there will be equality so no special treatment for men or women .. if they make the team they will get the same as then men
Denise Kulawik they do not meet the same level of competition. When the USWNT lose 5-2 to an U15 team from Dallas that is certainly not the same level.
Equal pay for equal work. This is such a poor economic arguments as by your logic we should reward individuals as long as they “try” for the same hours not taking into account quality or aptitude
Further, the standard is absolutely relevant. People watch the men’s game more because it is more exciting.
Your comments show you know nothing about football at all
"Let's ignore the main facts real quick" so here's the facts without the other facts we can't argue with.
