They both had successful individual careers before their subsequent reunion in London's Albert Hall which was such a success for them. Kind regards to all Everly fans. Keep listening and enjoying. England, February, 2024.
So many memories evoked when listening once again to the unique brotherly harmonizing of the Everlys! . A fact: The Beatles were known as the "English Everlys" in their British beginnings. The brothers paved the way! God rest Phil! Thank you Everlys for the memories and the ever memorable songs and singing!

The host of "Shindig" was none other than the legendary Jimmy O’Neill. Some say he was the only competition to Dick Clark back in the day. In fact, back in the 60s he was so loved and famous that the Flintstones had an episode featuring Jimmy. His name in that episode was "Jimmy O’Neillstone". I met and knew him real well when he was a DJ in Omaha, Ne at KOIL-AM. The staff of DJs back then were known as the KOIL "Good Guys"! Jimmy passed in 2013 but for me, he is still alive in so many songs I hear..Yes, this video is about the Everly Brothers, but, it is just as much about the immortal Jimmy O'Neill and those days when he walked this earth as a giant in the industry!!
Jim O'Neill was an outstanding talent and a fantastic d.j. He was indeed the only competition to Dick Clark. He had the # 1 rated show on KRLA Los Angeles before he went to KOIL Omaha. He will always be loved and remembered. He left us way too soon, and I really miss him.
Amazing how ppl think they can avoid you and then cry when you’ve had enough. But I do wish him well. Maybe someone else will love being with an invisible man who lives thousands of miles away. Suppose that’s what passes for relationships for many idiots these days. But not for moi. Bon chance ❤
@@rindangrahmadia9504 That's because you don't know the history of music. Lennon and McCarthy copied the Everly brothers even they're on record saying so.
@@rindangrahmadia9504 Not hardly, but I have seen a few clips where Sir Paul and John gave credit to the Everly Brothers for their success. You probably just know little about the origins of real music.
I turned 16 years old the day this was shown. They are still at the top of my favorites list.❤
Holy moly were they astonishing!
People that saw the Everly brothers must’ve just been overwhelmingly happy
