I've watched a few of your videos, great content and progress! Question though: you talk about Fat FIRE, but you are saving at such an aggressive rate it sounds like you are living a lean life (equivalent of Lean FIRE LOL). Do you travel? What are your hobbies, and what do you do for fun? Are you and your wife planning to have children? I want to FIRE, but life is about the journey, not denying yourself the joy of everyday life in pursuit of something you may never get to experience. Curious as to your thoughts on that. Thanks!
Hey Mike, great question! Our essential expenses are really low. We do splurge on things like traveling abroad, trying expensive food, and entertaining ourselves with activities. I just don't talk a lot about my lifestyle because so many people in our country are barely saving any money. Our ultimate goal is Fat FIRE and believe me when I say we're going to travel a lot and live in different locations when we retire. I just don't buy things that have no ROI. I emphasize the importance of enjoying your life while working on FIRE. You shouldn't feel like you're drowning. I hope this answers your question. -Psy
