- Scene of The Mentalist season 3 episode 5 "THE RED PONIES". I loved this scene!! It was so CUTE!!! Definitely Jane + horses = ♥ OMG! One of the most adorable things I ever saw! When he kissed the horse...so SWEET!!!!! ♥ Also, loved Grace here, totally! She and Jane make a good team, they have a great relationship! ^_^

I think it's sweet how Jane is the only one who realized just how much Van Pelt really wanted to be involved with the horses.
I think Jane is like a big brother to Van pelt. Big but sweet brother.
I loved how she says 'somewhere else, doing interesting things.' The facials are crassic :)

Everyone's talking about how sweet this scene is and how sweet Jane was in it. They seem to forget at the end of the episode Jane admits he was only 70% sure that horse was safe to ride, taking a 30% risk Grace would break/injure her head, spine, ribs, etc.
On the plus side: attractive lady in tight pants, walking away from the camera. Jane knew where his bread was buttered. (😉)

Her character was so boring. You might disagree but that is what I think, her character was such naive and gullible. If there were different commissioners in the CBI besides the ones that were already there and they saw her act dumb, I don't think we would see Grace Van Pelt any more.
Am I the o no you one who shipped her at one point? Obviously I prefer them as friends and they have a cute friendship, but there were some moments that made me think they'd be a cute couple.

I personally despise the subjugation of horses in the modern era we live in, but I love how Grace and Patrick get along and treat these animals with the respect they deserve.

They had it harder in ancient times, they were a popular mode of transportation, pulling wagons of people.
