I don't know how I didn't find you before to watch finally videos my speed/interest. I owned a bookstore for 25 years and still sell online. Seeing and hearing the love you have for books make me so happy I am not the only one!

When I sold my book that sold for $1000, I definitely didn't send it media mail🤣

You definitely shouldn’t lol 😂 but I’ll never judge someone I guess. Everyone likes their own risk appetite.

Omg I could not believe the high prices for some books, especially Stephen King. I’m not a regular bookseller but I will start looking more closely at garage sales in Estate sales. Thank you for all the information, once again very informative

I opened the Suzanne Collins listing in the app and saw the pictures it had attached, it was a hardcover box set with inscriptions and author signature in each book.

Liu Cixin is the author of the Three-Body Problem which is the first book in the Remembrance of Earth's Past series. Didn't know that Subterranean Press did an edition of them. Subterranean Press does some limited edition books many of which are signed and numbered. Great video! 😊

I sold a complete set of the Harvard classic for $500 on Amazon and it took 2 years to sell. I wish I knew more about eBay.

All it really takes is opening a personal account, creating some listings, set shipping to whatever you wish, and wait for sales.

That artist is the late Colombian artist Fernando Botero. The books are showcasing the collection he donated to the Museum of Antioquia in Colombia.

@@KateyReads you’re welcome! It’s a great show! Being an ‘80s kid, I watched it as an adult and love it.

Heckler & Koch is a gun maker. That was a “gun bible”. Just FYI. 😊

I recently began collecting Stephen King true first editions as I enjoy his books. For his earlier true first edition hardcovers, they will normally have a gutter code which will actually date the true publication of that certain book. They also have certain details that will show if it's a true "first state" edition.

Could you share how you create book lots to sell on eBay?

If two people have the same item for sale I all ways go for the free shipping item even if it was built into the price . What is Interesting is that people charge shipping like 5.97 for a 2000.00 item or even 200.00 for a 5000.00 item. AS a buyer of this kind of money you would think the seller would make you feel like you got a deal and they went out of their way to make you happy about your purchase. Just my thoughts, interesting video !

Very true! I know some sellers that make $1200+ a day still charging shipping and others that offer free shipping on larger dollar items. Like $2000 book. It’s funny the psychology behind it!

Well 99% probably think 🤔 opposite- with that kind of money 💰 I’m not worried about 5.00 shipping buyer or seller
