"BAND of Brothers," it's a long movie depicting the lives of the men assigned to the U.S. Army, Easy Company, 506th PIR (Parachute Infantry Regiment), 101st AIRBORNE DIVISION, who fought in the bloody & barbaric Battle of Bastogne. Their horrific experience grew a bond that could nor be broken, even after 70 years after the war, thus the camaraderie is coined, "Band of Brothers." It's a term of endearment to describe the deeper camaraderie in the military culture, esp. those who experienced combat side by side with your buddy. The fear if death shared all around, so everyone must do their part to protect and watch each others backs in order to survive. In order to fully become a Marine in PH they need to undergo on a test mission or deployment. After the duration of the deployment, they become marines. Philippine Marines are Baptize with fire and blood, actually almost every enlist soldiers in Philippines has combat experience. Let them have a great time. Since they folk probably having longing to their family and friends.
Their teaching these Filipinos soldiers some real grappling and wrestling martial arts rather than that bullshit traditional fma shit.

Just looked at the Russians with their intimidating Army, it may on a conventional warfare but not anymore. Your giving so much credit to the Chinese and lifting their Ego so much than what they can actually be.
The Chinese command is corrupt and paid for. You pay money to become a general. China has not been in a war forever almost. The US is a different story. The only advantage the Chinese army has is numbers. It would be a blood bath similar to the Russian casualties in Ukraine.
