Love all the tips for both UA-cam and my website. QUESTIONs: 1. If you are a small channel should you leave out modifiers? They dilute the exact search term right? 2. What program do you use for your graphics? They are great.
Thanks. That's true, they do somewhat dilute the search term in YT. That tip works best for Google vs. UA-cam because that effect is much smaller in Google. 2. I work with a fantastic editor

Can confirm that blog posts with titles do indeed perform well -- I've tested this as well, especially with odd numbers, and seen success.
Hi Brian. Regarding shorter URL’s, I feel like a lot of other factors play into this. Shorter URL’s tend to be in greater demand, so the players who have enough money to buy them tend to get those domains. Meaning, they have more resources available to build a site and do other activities.
Also, shorter URL’s match a lot of big brand names. Coca-Cola.com or GE.com, it’s not the fact it’s a shorter url that helps it rank, but a corporate powerhouse behind the domain.

This is glorious, I have been researching "website seo tips" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Teyathan Konylan Future - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now )? It is an awesome exclusive guide for understanding how to get an Automated Link Indexing System minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate got great success with it.

Your CTR tips sound great, but what would you suggest to improve CTR for a service company (ex. digital agency), adding a number to the title and commercial intent.

Hey Brian! On an ecommerce site would you recommend using your new optimized keyword phrase as your url or the product name and will it negatively affect your rankings if you go back and change old urls with new urls and redirects?

Brian, such a great video, man! I have two questions.
1. When I'm deleting underperforming pages, like low traffic blogs, can I simply unpublish them? That way the content isn't lost from my backend, and I could always republish if there was any problem with me removing it?
2. When linking to authority websites, do I want to include a no follow link? And should I avoid using the same anchor text as the keywords I'm trying to rank for?

Just as you gave us a sample body of what to send creators of link roundups and resource pages; could you also give us a sample subject for both? That's missing in your examples above and its just as important if not more since an unappealing subject line might result in the email not being opened at all.

Regarding the youtube tip, if the keyword is not ranking for any video I need to search for an other one. Question, what is the use of video snippets option in moz etc? Or will google roll out bit by bit video results and we might be ahead of what could be showing up? Please advise.

I will try three or four things in my blog for now since it is easy to implement.
1. Publishing long and valuable piece of content.
2. Deleting the underperforming pages.
3. Use Reddit and Wikipedia for content research.
One big problem when come to blogging is to find content idea for my blog.

Hello Brian, thank you for these great tips. Question: Im also wondering if you also need to when you post you blogs post in a catagorie that you need a good seo in that catagorie. When using the Yoast plugin you can get good seo scores in als that catagorie. Im experimenting with this now i have Great seo on my blog page - Great seo in the post - Great seo in the catagorie from that post. I hope i get more traffice this way. What is your opinion is there something like to much seo? like i target all things on WordPress speed (but in dutch) page-breadcrumbs-catagorie-images

One question - my rivals use so called "multi-tiered backlinks" strategy. They created free blog subdomains and build content around keywords. And then backlink to those sites using all spammy techniques.
And their domain score is better than mine😨.
Any recommendation?

Hey Brian, thanks for sharing your valueable content. One question about deleting underperforming pages: Is it enough to set those sites to noindex & nofollow or is it better to delete completely ?
It's ultimately your call. But if the page is really not adding any value to users or Google, I prefer to just delete it.

Hello Brian, great job I am loving your stuff.I recently use a few of your tips on one of my old and under performing posts about safety tips for DIY home repairs/remodelingAs you can tell this may have been a boring one.I changed from an informal style to a conversational one and turned the post into a quick guideI added only very little copy so the post is only about 600 words long.When I started my experiment the post was ranking on 90 with 0 CTRone week after the changes to the post and the adjustments to the title tags the same post ranks 2.1 on google and the CTR is 27%
