If you want to show the inside of the main compartment unfasten the compression buckles. You can't see what the depth is at the bottom of the backpack

What the material of the outer base of the backpack?

Prob rip stop nylon. The manufacture website will tell you

How much does the admin panel eat into the overall bag capacity? IE - any estimate as to how much can be held in the main space?

Not much at all. Maybe 10% but the admin panel has a fabric depth of 1.5 inches about so it can be filled with things once the main compartment is full

@@bananasforbikes interesting. I'd also remove the outside webbing. My current pack is the REI Trail 25. Super comfy but think the Skule 28 w/o the bungee cord might look cleaner/less outdoorsy lol

@@bananasforbikes Awesome! how do you like the pack for extending wear (like 2-3 hours of walking about with it on)?

@@thetechtrek honestly it's great. It's the one I kept out of the 10 or so I tried. It's not a super technical back like a hiking specific bag with webbing and air flow but it's a great all around bag

How do you remove the hip belt? I can’t seem to figure it out!

You just have to do a bunch of wiggling and maneuvering 😎

Does it stand up on its own?
