Every time I see Shujinko 13 (Young Shujinko) being talked about as unused, nobody mentions his unused player 2 color palette. If I play as Noob-Smoke in the primary costume and set Player 2 AI to Shujinko 13 everytime, and I reach the "guaranteed" mirror match, Shujinko 13's red shirt will appear green...
The fact that Sub is there in the village at all after you leave likely implies you were going to have the ability to return. A few villagers there talking about a Lin Kuei presence and recruiting.
Yeah.... very interesting I don't understand why the game won't let you go back. It's a shame konquest couldn't be fully finished... it could have been ever better then what we got which was already great. I read originally the ending was gonna be us recruiting all the fighters then fighting onaga which would have been awesome, instead you just have shujinko ending in the ladder which kinda shows that. Oh what could have been
Alot of cool things I never knew about. You are the best at these. These games have been datamined before but I've never seen anyone use a free camera before. And the things you've datamined you always seem to find new stuff others have overlooked. The best on UA-cam keep it up please.

Speaking of unused content in this game, one thing I keep wondering about is: where is the Edenia indoor arena? In Konquest mode every realm has two arenas, an indoor one usually used for mandatory trainings, and an outdoor one used for most of the other fights and non-mandatory trainings. Beside it being a shame that these aren't unlockable in normal play (especially the Chaosrealm and Oderrealm arenas since they are the ONLY arenas in the whole series set in those realms), the only mandatory training in Edenia is Sindel's and it uses the outdoor arena, so there is NO fight or training in Edenia using an indoor arena, which makes me wonder, did they really only make one stage for Edenia? Could it be that the game has a second Edenia arena which was accidentally left unused?

Also, one thing I've always wondered is how the game loads interiors in Konquest Mode. Would it be possible to force the game to load a particular interior, no matter which building you enter? We could potentially see if there's still an interior for the Shaolin Temple in the game's files, or the one locked building in the Netherrealm.
Least I know that it has good amount of cut contents and unused. I wonder what would've like to have those in the game if it wasn't cut or actual used, like having Noob fight alone instead of having duo with Smoke or have Jax in the roster.

Jajaj! De chicos siempre queríamos desbloquear cosas que de grande nos dimos cuenta que no se podía. Objetivamente, deception tiene los mejores mapas, mejor konquest, y probablemente mejor gameplay!
I actually searched a lot about that, I don't know why I didn't add it to the video, but there isn't any mention about the ninja star or raiden's staff after you get them. I believe also there are some unused konquest models, but I need more testing on that.
@@epica7798 I found a video about jade key, ninja star and raiden's staff on the channel called MattJ155. He managed to list all the items that exists in the konquest into the invemtory.

3:19 that version of Shang tsung is who shujinko should've fought in konquest mode,since parts of konquest is pre-MK1
In my childhood, I think that there is a MEGA SECRET, where we can come back to Village as old Shujinko :D

It's so interesting that both MK1 and MK2 Shang Tsung is in the stage backgrounds. I wonder if MK3 Shang is anywhere?
