I don't support the current government in Afghanistan, but they have achieved more than the previous Western-backed regime. They are actively working on improving the economy, in contrast to the previous government that embezzled aid funds. The current administration has established security, a stark contrast to the previous one where no one felt safe, including the army and police who engaged in daylight robberies.
Moreover, the current government has taken steps to address the issue of drug addiction by providing treatment for addicts, a problem exacerbated by the involvement of previous government officials in drug trade and distribution, leading to the addiction of 4 million people. Corruption has been significantly reduced under the current government, unlike the previous one where officials openly demanded bribes.
In terms of women's safety, the current government has made strides, ensuring that women are not subjected to kidnapping and gang rape as they were under the previous regime.
