A great podcast! I am from Afghanistan, I was born and raised there and I have spent 25 years of my life in Kabul. With all due respect to Iyer Jii! A few things were worded a bit inaccurate that I would like to point out. Firstly, our food is not all meat, eating out in a restaurant or a hotel is not affordable for 90% of Afghans, when we have guests we normally cook meat because meat is also a delicacy not every Afghan household can afford to eat on a regular basis in most Afghan households they eat meat only when they have guests. secondly Iyer Jii stated that he didnt see anyone playing cricket, cricket is played on regular basis all over Kabul but not in the busy center and business areas, plus mostly Pashtoons play cricket areas like Ahmad Shah Baba Mena are predominantly populated by Pashtoons you can witness kids playing cricket on every patch of grass. His views about the new regime and the geopolitics were on point. We love India not just because we share an enemy but we have so many cultural similarities and history together. Because of Bollywood and the Indian music industry I speak fluent Hindi. I have been to India a few times and I had the time of my life. its ironic he mentioned Hashish A lot, I live in Germany since 1 year and as I was playing this podcast I made Hashish joint and ordered Chicken Biryani which was Ironically delivered to me by a Pakistani guy. and the two points I pointed out are strictly for educational purposes. Mr. Iyer is one of the few media people that saw the reality. I worked with a lot of western journalists, with them I felt no joy while working because they have a very unchangeable minset. but with Indian journalists the fun started while negotiating the prices, I always had a lot to talk about with them. Aur Ranveer Jii Aapke saare podcasts mai dekhta ho aur alag alag subjects pe knowledge haasel karta ho, Mera Entertainment aur knowledge ka badhna dono ek saath hote hai so thank you for these amazing podcasts.

Lol All Americans are so naïve. You you only forced bombs and drone attacks. America didn't come there for democracy or nation building but for many other hidden agendas. Biden himself finally told the truth and these are exact words of him at press conference that we were not there for democracy or nation building, we went there for revenge. America until now is playin double games, unlike Russia who had a clear agenda. In fact America has been destroying the democracy in Afghanistan again and again both in early nineteens and now again, they were behind they collapse of a democratic government. They want Afghanistan to be destabilized and uncivilized, so that they can interfere for their own personal purposes.

At 1:00:00 - I totally understand what he is saying when he says that Afghanis have genuine affection for Indians. I live in Seattle Washington where some Afghan refugees have come and one lovely woman recognized me as Indian and just hugged me saying that I am like a sister to her!! She offered me her tea from a thermos and introduced me to her kids and her other friend who were also sitting in the park. Couldn't speak much Hindi or English but nevertheless her smile and affection were very evident. But I have to say she absolutely loved the open air of WA and freedom, she was very grateful to the USA too !!
Superb show!! Pls get more shows like this.. we can see the world which we specially females can't dare to travel through the eyes of these gentlemen..

I think everyone in the world should watch podcasts with experts from all over the world. American, European, Russian, Indian, Chinese etc.. The "common citizen" could learn a lot from watching these different perspectives. No matter where you're from, the mainstream media paints a biased picture of events and you get very little info overall.
Great going Ranveer. Bring Anand Ranganathan in. Tehseen Poonawala also seems fairly fun and can reveal a lot of behind the scene relations of political opponents. Suhel Seth could be interesting. Even the new US ambassador would be game for an appearance on your podcast.

I think he has good knowledge about it and will be a pretty interesting podcast. Thanks for your content Ranveer. It's always lovely to watch it. Great Job!

Eagerly waiting for 2nd episode AIM is gem 💎
Thanks for bringing abhijit iyer mitra AIM Ranveer
Thank you Ranveer for bringing AIM on your podcast. I hope to see more of him on your podcast 😊
Abhijeet is impeccable and refreshingly brash and pointed.. he is a rockstar
Need a lot more episodes with abhijit iyer mitra 🔥🔥🔥
Another bang -bang episode of trs, just grateful ranveer ❤, And please bring more army podcast because it helps us to understand soldiering very well❤
Fantastic episode, Ranveer. Really enjoyed this. Made my Saturday! Keep up the good work, sir.🙏🏼
Please talk about anthropology, industrialization and the history related to it with Abhijit, it will explain so much about the current situation of India and so on. I would say a podcast about Industrialization is a must.
I am hearing AIM on Sham Sharma Show, Charvaka Podcast, Podcast with Smita Prakash and now on TRS. AIM can speak facts for hours without fumbling. That's how AIM is.
a man/woman with many titles: tatte idli , homo hurday samrat , queen elizabeth ki atma he is entertaining and intresting we all love him and he speaks for what he believes in without any bullshit.

Imagine abhijeet chavda sir , Abhijit lyer and ranveer three of them together doing podcast like not question answer but talking on a particular topic it would be just amazing
Will still be Aim who will chat the most.
I like the way this guy is sharing his experiences in different countries. Seems like he speaks truth. I have traveled a lot and could totally relate to what he is saying.
I think everyone in the world should watch podcasts with experts from all over the world. American, European, Russian, Indian, Chinese etc.. The "common citizen" could learn a lot from watching these different perspectives. No matter where you're from, the mainstream media paints a biased picture of events and you get very little info overall.
Loved the podcast..some deep geopolitical knowledge with a tint of humour in between the convo..amazingly done😊❤
Thanks Ranveer for accepting my request!! An excellent episode. Now please bring in Kushal Mehra also a friend of Abhijit. He also lives in Mumbai.
kushal mehra lives in kanedda
@nothing 😂😂
@nothing poha kha khake kala hogay hai 👊🏻😂
Great going Ranveer. Bring Anand Ranganathan in. Tehseen Poonawala also seems fairly fun and can reveal a lot of behind the scene relations of political opponents. Suhel Seth could be interesting. Even the new US ambassador would be game for an appearance on your podcast.
I enjoyed this podcast, from Indonesia

Ask him about the Indian Armed Forces, Arms and ammunition, Fighter Jets, Navy Ships and submarines technology, Integration of Armed forces concept from the perspective of tech and of course the role of AI in arming our Indian Forces. I think he has good knowledge about it and will be a pretty interesting podcast. Thanks for your content Ranveer. It's always lovely to watch it. Great Job!
