    This was not only my first Mando cosplay, but my first cosplay ever! In this video, I talk about the things I learned while making this cosplay and hopefully provide some tips or things to consider if you're planning to make a Mando cosplay, or any first time cosplay things to consider.
    *Note*
    I apologize for the audio quality. I'm still trying to adjust to the new space and I was recording my audio from an external mic on the camera. I may need to get a lapel mic to work better with the new recording space.

    I definitely learned a lot from this experience. Not just making the cosplay, but also from making the video. I’m looking forward to applying what I’ve learned into my next projects! Thank you all so much for the support!

    Another option when buying cosplays online, most stores/sellers give option of custom size suit. And you rarely need to pay more. You might need to wait a bit longer since they will make it to your measurements (always add in an extra cm in).

      Great advice! I will definitely take this into consideration the next time I want to pick up some cosplay stuff that I can’t make myself!

      Thanks!! I’m planning on doing another costume and if you haven’t checked it out, Leather Fashion Valley also has a really good option, and a bonus there, with their suit you can lift your arms up lol

    Still making my Mando costume, nearly finished, I also used galactic armory files. I'm thinking about using Green Stuff World's chrome metal paint as I have the Hasbro mando helmet to avoid the trouble of printing a helmet and that paint matches the colour of the helmet.

      Good luck! And that Black Series Helmet is pretty awesome! I think Adam Savage did a video on weathering that exact helmet of you’re interested.

    Great video, man! I'm in the exact same situation. I finished my Din Djarin costume with more or less the same components (and the same setbacks) for a costume party on December 2nd. And my biggest takeaway is also the same one: you can tweak it later. :-) This is the way!

    What material did you end up using to print your armor in? Was going to use PLA also, but a bit worried about this given the melting issue you described.

    • @oawa
      @oawa  Рік тому

      It was PLA. I believe I have a link to the brand I used in the description. Hatchbox PLA is the brand if it isn’t there. Just don’t leave it out in direct sunlight lol.
