While I'm only stepmom right now, I can certainly use some of these tips with my teenage stepson and also share them with his dad. Teenagers can be a challenge! All we have to do is think about what we did as teenagers lol!
I have already been through this stage but am going to be going through it again soon so this is a good refresher!

Raising a teen boy myself. Literally just put yourself in their shoes and don't take anything personally. All bad behaviour is a cry for help, attention, and/ or underlying medical issues. Figure those three out and always always always keep their chin up from birth. Tell them they're the best thing since sliced bread, I personally pick on my kids about things they call deficits and play them up as their "uniqueness" coming through. It becomes a kind of badge of honor so to speak. My son would grab my hoodies, even the pink ones, and wear them to school just bc he couldn't find one of his. He used to run "like a girl" hands flailing and whatnot. Boys said something one time and he said, is it hurting you? Then watch this and started prancing around in his football uniform. He is so hilarious. I told him I was gonna have to get him a a pair of heels to replace his cleats 😂 he laughed harder than I did.
Raising a teenage kid is hard especially alone, I cant even imagine. Sounds like your son is funny and you have good relation with him. Thanks for watching!

You got this! Teenage is a difficult age I would suggest never take anything personal whatever your son or daughter says when they are upset. remember you are the parent and you are the mature one. there will be fights and disagreements but its phase and hopefully it will go away.
