That’s a great way for them in between cleanings. I’m from Iowa and I do some washing and detailing on RV’s in the off season at a park N of Tampa. I really recommend having a good full detail done at least once a year. My washes include the roof awnings and sides. I have seen many clean the roofs with high pressure which is a BIG NONO! Everything should be washed with very low pressure and some elbow grease. Most of my customers are elderly people and they never go on their roof. So when I wash their RV I always do a roof inspection for them for free. I check for any damage or any potential problems that may arise, such as how the dicor around vents, pipes, and skylights look. I’ll take photos to show the customer what’s going on. I’m probably one of the very few that does this but the most important part of the RV is the roof. I also recommend having your roof rubber membrane roof conditioned after it has been cleaned. So I know how you said it’s a little expensive having the detail crew come out and clean it but it may save you $ in the long run by having someone on the roof cleaning and checking for potential problems in the future. Like your channel by the way!
If you’re still in the Tampa area, are you a mobile detailer? Would love to have you service mine before I sell it! Lol
@@hurco8295 usually down that way in the winter months
I love these two! It’s rare to see a true TEAM like they clearly are. Lots of true love for each other which is just rare.
The dry wash does a great job! Love the outakes, you guys crack us up! Great video!
I kept waiting on the acid joke and then when she was trying to get you to say “extend” all I could think of was the game show $10,000 pyramid 😂🤣😂
We love you guys ! We learn so much from watching you. Keep it real and keep it honest ! Catcha down the road !!
You guys are so cute, thanks for the great videos and the laughs at the end. 👍🏼God bless you 🌞😁❤
I'm a new owner of a Grand Design full body paint and this info was just what I needed.
The outtakes were fantastic,!
Wash All is great, I have been using it on my motorcycles and truck for years. The tire dressing is great as well.
Great vlog guys, well done. Thanks for the info, time, and for sharing your experience...
This information is awesome. Thank you for sharing. Love your bloopers.😊
I've used the Blue Beacon truck washes. Typically stopping at the last one near my destination. They're great and surprisingly affordable.
As for the Wash Wax All, we use that at work for keeping our helicopters looking good. Among other things, it allows us to wash them in the heated hangar, instead of a wet wash outside in the cold. And you can just do the sections that need it.
This was a great topic video. We constantly struggle with keeping the rig clean and bug free. I'm going to definitely try the dryer sheets on our trailer
Im a owner operator and and I LOVE blue Beacon they always do an amazing job on my truck. Great video guys! enjoy watching your adventures!
I was going to ask about the bug stains, but then you mentioned the bug scrubber. Awesome...I got to get one of those kits...THANK YOU !!!
Thank you for this content. This is an important process we all need to do our best at. I have struggled with our new trailer. Backing into car washes that are tall you name it. Your experiences and advise is very helpful. My pickup camper sold after 24 years well because I took care of it. Our new trailer will get the same care but is sometimes harder to care for. Thanks for the tips. Take care.
Looks great. All shiney. Great job by the Chadster.
Great video. Thanks for sharing these options with us.. Loved the outtakes :)
Great info! Thanks for taking the time! I know it's a lot of work to put these videos together. The outtakes are a great part of y'all's videos 🤣
I have been using same product for years. Works great! Once again I agree with you guys. Keep up the great videos.
Thank you so much for all the tips!
It's up to $68 😏 Inflation is hitting everything. I really appreciate all of your wisdom. There's no way I could do this without UA-cam and channels like yours!! I love you guys!!
Great video....buying that kit now! Thanks guys for such great content.
Good bless you guys ❤️
I have been wondering about that very kit for awhile now. Thanks for the info on it. When we decide to get it I will purchase thru your link. Safe travels and hope to see you on the road!
As always, great info plus I really enjoy the "out takes". Dryer sheets are on the shopping list...
Always so informative.
I use that same stuff on all my vehicles. It is awesome.
Great video. Thanks for doing the reviews of the different ways to wash the 5er.
Awesome information, very helpful. Thanks!
Really liked this on the real life of RV living, thanks for sharing!
One thing I like to use on my vehicles for bugs is one of those sponges and has a sort of net around it in the same soap. So much easier.
Thanks for the Dryer sheets great idea .
Great information thanks for making the video! I love the outtakes you two are so great together!😂 Stay safe out there
Great video, and the ending was priceless
We use the wash wax all also. It works very well. Thanks for your great videos!
Thank you for the review! We like Blue Beacon -- used the one in Eloy, AZ. Pretty reasonable in our opinion, but can't beat your own hand detailing. We were using the RV Wash/Wax, along with the Protect-All Rubber Roof Treatment. Pretty labor intensive as it took a few days to complete the job on our 30' GD 5ver. The rubber roof treatment was a challenge due to my acrophobic issues and hubby (although a Fireman) had some issues on the roof. We will certainly try that Wash Wax All.
Great info! You guys Rock!
love y'all! your out takes are hilarious!
Thanks guys....definitely worth the money. Be safe on the road.
First time I've watched you folks. Great presentation. Love the humor. Content is pretty good too. LOL
We lived in Miami Everglades until moving to South Carolina. Chris and Nancy were great, did a wonderful job on our unit.
Another great informative content! Yeah, the kit is a little pricey but it’s a value to be able to wash your rig anywhere & know it’s done right! Thanks again for all you do making your videos, very helpful!
Best outtakes yet!!
Now that was a great video. Normally like you two days for a wash and if waxing is needed the time goes up by two. I've seen the waterless produce on Amazon but never pulled the trigger. Thank you for sharing.
You guys are too funny!! You know I didn't think about this task thanks for showing the options. Phew I'd be pissed too about the bad wash and scratches, glad it got fixed.
Awesome show, thanks for sharing!!
MAGIC SPONGES ... my wife loves those things!
We really loved this video, so much info and we loved how you didn't hesitate to show the fails as well as the successes. Great Video!
Thanks! We're outlining a video now over everything that's broken in the bast 1.5 years... Nothing big.. but want to cover it..
I second the wash and wax kit. But I do think that the quick extend retract function of the pole can’t be overstated. I looked all over for a pole that worked as well and couldn’t find one. It gets tiresome loosing and tightening a collar on most extendable poles. We have had our kit for over a year and it still works great. High quality set up! Great video
Great video very informative thanks for sharing all that 👍
Thank you to the both of you for sharing your great experiences and encounters. I'm subscribing.
Welcome to our channel! 😊
Hey guys! Im sure youve heard this a ton of times, BUT. Im gonna say it anyway; ,,
You both Make an AWESOME COUPLE!!! I dont think you could have picked a better partner
You equally complement one another almost... too good!!!
(and there aint nothin wrong with that)
Keep rockin!
Wow, thank you! Great information!
Great video! thank you for the information. Safe Travels!
Great tips! I always enjoy your videos!
Nice to see someone really take care of the paint 👊🏼
Yes, Alcohol for tree sap absolutely works fantastic.
We use Hydrogen Peroxide ti remove love bugs. It works best if you get them off within a few hours.
Excellent video. Thanks.
Excellent video. You answered all the questions that this newbie had. Really appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
Welcome to our channel! 😊 Thanks for watching! 😊
Great video and that RV looks badass 👍🏻
Lol y’all are funny, love the clips at the end.
Thanks for the video and the tips.
Damn yet something else that’s awesome! Keep em coming! Lol I add this to my shopping list for the rv. Sooo happy those with road experience make these videos for us that are planning on joining the lifestyle. You eliminate so many trials and errors for those willing to watch your awesome videos! Again, thank you my friends. Lol the outtakes hahahahaha I asked for acid and he tried to sell me some lol
Love the info in this video. It was funny hearing about the live bugs. When I was owner operator, Louisiana completely drained the swamp that you go across on I12 in 2003 I believe. You literally had to stop on either end of the bridge and clean your grill and windshield as the truck started running hot. My red truck turned black with love bugs. Safe travels and keep the vids coming.
If love bugs just ceased to exist, there would be a lot of happy people! LOL
Great tips, thanks for the video.
You guys make the best videos . Thanks for being the GINIPIGS . LOL . Learned alot
This was a great video! We will be looking at the kit on amazon!
Love this video. some great ideas, Plus you guys are soo awesome, love they way you interact with each other and love the outtakes.
We purchased this last summer and love it. Like you, we sprayed on the surface then wiped and buffed. We later learned that it is better to spray the wet pad, scrub then buff. You use much less cleaner and it doesn't dry too fast. We haven't tried that yet but will the next time we wash.
I've had great success cleaning love bugs with baby shampoo. I only use it on the front facia and mirrors and it makes for easy removal. 18 years of Florida living taught me that!
Good info. Clear and concise....late to this, but subscribed
An acid wash works great, but I would only use it on the front of the truck, and the nose front of the trailer. The secret is to not just spray it on and wash it off after using a brush. I do smaller sections, scrub, and rinse. Leave it on for 15 minutes and your paint will look oxidized. We used it in the Bakken and the Class 8's would come in covered in oil from all of the big engines running while fracturing. The stuff we used came from a chemical manufacturer in Utah, and the oil would come right off.
Love Blue Beacons when we are traveling. If I have to wash on the road, and the park allows it, I only use water. I'll wash with soap 2x year at my sons house.
Yes, a lot of work. Good information
Very Good Video ,Learning before Buying.
Great Info. Thank you!!
Love ya guys... im so jalux in the goodway😍
Awesome video, thanks for sharing
Friggin outakes are 😂😂😂😂 this was really great info. I'll pass it onto my dad who also has a 44' house on wheels.
You guys are cool 😎. We enjoy your videos.
For the dryer sheet use, use them after you have used them in the dryer. Gunk is gone. Sprayway Glass Cleaner and a microfiber cloth works really well as a "dry" wash.
Hmmmm.. haven't tried a "spent" one before... Thanks for the tip! 👍🏼
Thanks for the review and all the details on how to keep your rig clean. Would not have thought to try the dryer sheet or hand sanitizer. Great info so us newbies know what we are getting ourselves in to. Will have to pick up one of those Waterless Wash /Wax kits when we hit the road (very soon). Have an awesome week!
RV Diem and ALL: we also use BUGS N ALL - an enzyme bug digester easy on wax n paint!!! Disolves bugs!!
Thanks for the sap removal tip! Have had spots on my white King Ranch Super Duty for over 2 years. Hand sanitizer took them right off! Thanks!!!!
Lol on the outtakes! Great video Chad and Tara! FYI. Alcohol while cleaning the RV, should be a mandatory!
Thank you for sharing. Always enjoy your videos and I can tell y’all put a lot of time and effort into each one. We hope to meet y’all one day and would love to take a day ride (on scooters of course) with y’all one day.
Thank you so much! Love your Videos!
I like the kit, blue beacon is good too
Thanks! Great Video!
Thank you for sharing your experience. It helped me greatly.
Thanks for watching, Brian! Hope you check out the rest of our channel! 😊
You guys are funny great video, makes me want to try the dry wash.👍
Been waiting for this review. Thanks.....bought it.
Thanks, Chris! Hope you like it! 👍🏼
Thank you for your video regarding truck washes. I have a 45 ft Entegra anthem Diesel Pusher and I was not sure about truck washes until I just watched your video. I will now check out the blue beacons when I'm on the road. I will also stay away from Mom and Pop truck washes after seeing what they did to your RV.... Thank you guys for what you do as a fellow rver we appreciate it!
We started taking our 2021 Keystone Montana to Blue Beacon and they have done a great job.
Our visit to a Blue Beacon included the option of having our class A dried. One price for the windows
only ($20 I think) and ($40 ??) for the whole coach (not the roof). Opting for the windows we watched
the two workers go above and beyond by also drying the wheels and spraying dressing on the
tires. They got a big tip from us !! I will be looking for the Wash-Wax All. Thanks for all the good info!
Thanks for the video, I am about 15 min from Everglades RV Park in Miami. Will add Chris and Nancy detailers to my list.
I ready like your informatieve video’s. You two ready know how to explain en show how with hands on demonstraties 👍
We were introduced to this at a Passport America rally in 2015. Have used it since and like yall said it works on everything. Happy Trails folks, by the way if you ever get to the Tetons plz stop in and say hello at GVCG. We are in Loop E.
You guys have lots of good information thanks from Ardrossan Alberta just east of Edmonton
I've been using the Wash Wax All for the last year, it work great and makes the quick clean when we get home from trips super easy. I think it's getting easier to clean the bugs off the more I use it on the front cap.
On the truck washes... Pride in Frankfort is horrible, but one in Shepherdsville is ok, one in Hobart IN is great! After 400k miles best wash I’ve ever found is Danny’s in Phoenix. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Amazing services, staff are friendly, and they offer full detail under a covered 3 bay area. On the “acid”, you need to say “NO BRIGHTENER”. That what they call it because it “brightens” the aluminum on the semis. Lastly, when using these you need to ask if their location recycles their water. If so you need to make sure you get the fresh rinse and towel dry the truck.
Do it yourself... best products I’ve ever found is Adam’s wash, wax, and detail sprays. Be careful using waterless washers. If you have too much dust on the rig you will wipe it into the clear coat. You do NOT want to have to clay bar a RV! 😣 Lastly, I will use Castrol’s GT super lean on my rims and tires. It’s just harsh enough to get rid of the brake dust, but not harsh enough to harm paint or aluminum.
Love your guys channel. You and KYD are primarily who I watch. Love that your so open about trying to help others or those trying to learn 👍🏻
Oh yea.. whenever we have lots of dust on the rig, we find a wet wash option. We had LOTS of dust and dirt from that sand in the video... Thanks for watching, Brian! 😊
Great information....
