DCALABRESE Popliteous Fast 1978

originally titled 'A-La-Monk', i wrote this as a chord progression first, then the melody was attached as per my explanation above about my piano teacher's method of dipping my feet in to the compositional process. really a very genious and almost sneaky way to get a resistant child of 15 to get into something. it worked. thanks, Bobby, you're awesome. at the time i thought that that's what the great Theloneous sounded like out of the plethora of Bop tunes Bobby was giving me to learn.
