Hi so what actually happens when you flash the PCM? Does the vehicle return to factory settings (radio station settings will be deleted, trip data/mileage will be deleted?) or is that something different?
If you're familiar with drivers for your windows pc. It's similar, it simply updates the "driver" for your car's motor. In some cases some pcm stored values can be reset

You have to transfer the seed to the pcm and program keys.

I have a question if I take a used ECM from junkyard and write the vin number from my car will start do I have to desable skin
Depending on the year/model, some just need vin number changed.

CDA6 does not come with wiring diagrams, but search our website for help with wiring diagrams.

No need for it if your doing it on the bench. If over obd2 port in vehicle use the gateway bypass harness.
