My father was stationed at Pearl Harbor Fort Kamehameha coastal defenses when the Japanese attacked on December 7, 1941. I would like to thank Trek Yards and your wonderful patron for doing such a good job honoring those brave men and women with your elegant Starship.
ebenezer1690 Thank you to your father. Thank you team Trekyards. And it was my pleasure.
Can't wait to see "Star Trek: Arizona" the series.
Good luck getting CBS to green light that because it’s extremely unlikely to happen, but not necessarily impossible if CBS got their heads out of their butts and started giving a crap about what the fans wanted
My GOD its the size of a Star Destroyer!! :D
The torpedo weapons pods are a good idea.
Resurrected Starships True story.
I was thinking a Battlestar.😐
More Like a Battlestar, it's even in the shape and the nacelles if you look.
Set Conditon One throught the Fleet!
XO Teigh: Full power to the weapon grid, all weapon stand by enemy suppression barrage, prepare to drop cloak.
Tactical officer Gaeta: All stations report ready.
ADmiral Adama: DROP CLOACK, ALL BATTERIES ENEMY SUPPERRSION FIRE EXECUTE!
That thing is immense.
An awesome throwback to a type of ship that will always have a special place in my heart. The battleship is back baby!
I'm ok with the phased cloak being used here. In the standard areas it's a bit much. But if we are wandering into the unknown, whether it is another quadrant or galaxy, it would be good to have an ace up your sleeve.
A neat and tidy design. This is my new favorite for fleet command/exploration ships.
True story. Delta and Gamma Quadrants primarily I suppose. But in unexplored territories along the boarders of the Federation's galactic rim and beyond, definitely it could be utilized.
I just discovered Trekyards recently and I LOVE this channel! I have been binge watching and so far this is my favorite ship featured yet.
It's an awesome channel!!!!! And thanks!
Seems like the designer went out of his way to make this overpowered imo. It looks alright, but is essentially a god ship.
You are right. Could it take on 4-5 Borg tactical cubes on it's own. Sure. Any more than that in a standing fight, it would be a fight to the death.
LOL. I was also thinking, didn't someone (Sisko?) say the same thing about the Defiant being overpowered?
Most BB’s in real life did stick with this principle it’s the Bismarck! It’s the Yamato! Like yeah they are scary but if you kill one thousand would die
what's wrong with that? starfleet got their asses handed to them nonstop, and this was long overdue
Been watching your first few episodes. Your production quality has gone waaay up. You guys are also much more experienced. Keep it up!! 😁
Daric Thanks. Always improving!
First let me say, it takes real courage to go online with a star trek vessel design and talk about your work. So thank you for showing us this amazing design!
The Arizona has a lot of elements that my own ship that i'm developing has in it but smaller (I also have a name for my class but can't talk about it yet). The command & carrier aspects are great but also deep space assignment as a secondary role are good! I see this carrier design being more to do with deep space colonization and frontier work than anything else.
I do feel that this ship has too many upgrades that the federation would not totally adopt all at once. Too much complexity is not good in a ship design. I also think that perhaps there are too many weapons for a ship this size and for its role. the torpedo launchers are great however with the extra fighters, the ship doens't need that many weapons. Typically starfleet doesn't build warships in peace time either. The power requirements would be outrageous for shield and weapons simultaneously. If the federation could get slipstream to work it would change the nature of the entire series (ie traveling to all known parts of the galaxy and then other galaxies.. just saying. Typically Slipstream would be relegated to NX class ships while testing, so i'm assuming your ship is much further along the line in time. What year was it built and at what shipyard (just curious)?
The Federation would also have had to have a real purpose for designing such a resource draining designed ship (I can't imagine how much material or how many new shipyards would need to be built to house it). Just giving some feedback here perhaps you can explain that in your back story more, nothing meant to be negative...
I really do like the Arizona, its the best Carrier class design i've seen yet onscreen!
I haven't nailed a hull design down for my own ship myself yet but perhaps i'll try blender at some point as well. Someone should do some UA-cam videos on how to design a ship from start to finish! Is there an assortment of templates for federation design models for blender available or did you have to start from scratch?
Well done!
Karr Galaxy Studios Great comment. These videos need many more commenters like you! Bravo!!
Thanks. True indeed. For the longest time I hesitated sharing...on any media platform. But then I had seen/read the negative input some people had on ships by iconic designers like D.Drexler, R.Sternbach, and A. Probert. And these are like, legendary Star Trek ship designers. So if more people like my designs than hate them...I'm good.
My direction came from, in large part, not having a stronger military direction, almost cost them the quadrant to the Dominion.
For complexity, I took current aircraft carrier design - today they are larger than those in the past, more complex, more powerful, but have a smaller crew compliment than in the past.
USS Arizona build started around 2379, shortly after Voyager returned to the Alpha Quadrant. Location of construction was Beta Antares Ship Yards.
Construction and shipyard - several sections would encompass a hull. And the construction exocomps is what facilitates it's build; just a few short years build-time of a Galaxy Class Starship.
Do it!!!!!! Totally do it!
Hahahaha! From scratch! Oye! I mean, I got inspirations (Akira-style nacelles; Enterprise B/E secondary hulls). But had to create all the meshes from scratch in Blender.
Cheers!
Thanks a lot for responding and filling in those all important details! I will give blender a try! hope its not too difficult to learn, need to learn some modeling. probably get some sketches down first though. Thanks again!
Try i out. Not that difficult. AND......it's free.
isfj1009 how did you deal with the sentiant life of tue exocomps and going them tights to choose to live free in the federation while building starfleet tech? Did your exocomps hat to attend starfleet academy?
Star trek battlestar in a nutshell
But different.
I love this design so much!!!!!
Thanks!
I have to say this is, by far, my favorite starship design to date. It has everything I've ever wanted to see in a Starfleet vessel. It's amazing. Such a beautiful design and tastefully done. I would love to see this thing square off with a Borg tactical cube or a Dominion fleet.
Thank you!
Wow! This ship is amazing! Love to see it as a ship on STO. I know I would drop $30 to buy this ship. So cool. Awesome job on this design! Very well thought out. That you guys at Trekyards for giving him a chance to bring it to the world!
Thanks. And thank you, too, team Trekyards!
Nerdgasm here. This answers the question "What if we combined a military starbase, a scientific starbase, and a starship while configuring it to the best of each?"
This is also like "What if Star Trek created a starship like a Star Wars capital ship?" Well, here it is. This is the kind of ship not commanded by a captain, but by an admiral. Yes, the only time an admiral would be on a lone starship as their commisioned position, not a temporary one assumed.
Correct. For example, there isn't just a Main Bridge. There is the CIC for battle conditions. As well as a Flight Operations Center for shuttle and fighter ops.
In otherwords this is what would resalt if a battleship and an aircraft carrier found a nice secluded "space" (pun inyended) and got busy!
@@seanm4095 I heard the last part of your comment in Tracy Morgan's voice. 🤣
I really love the secondary hull and how its soo long combined with those nacelles and how they're staggered.
Thanks! That took FORever to get just how I wanted them. :)
WOW... I'd like a model kit of this, "SUPER-SIZE", Starship!!! AWESOME design!!!
I had a 14" 3D-printed example made. It came out nicely. On the same scale as Eaglemoss's Enterprise C, D, and E. The size comparison is pretty bad-ass. :)
I sure hope the repair system doesn't become sentient.
LOL. Yeah. I hope they learned their lessons of the first Ectocomps. But these units are less...self-reliant.
damn she's a beautiful ship
Ok is the desinger aware of Picards quote that the "Federation is not a military organization its purpose is exploration" and science endevours?
Remember, that rigid mindset almost kept the Defiant from being constructed. It also almost caused the Federation to lose everything with it's war with the Dominion - peaceful arrangements worked with the Klingons; it worked with the Andorians. It was not going to work with the Dominion. And certainly was not going to work with the Borg. Sometimes you have to be the one with a bigger stick. It's how you use it that counts. ;)
So it's basically a TNG/VGR version of the Starfleet Battles battleship carriers. Cool.
It’s very cool aesthetically, love the turrets. I might’ve toned down the number of new systems though. It comes across as a little bit of a deus ex machina, fan wank kinda ship imho. I think you’d spread the new stuff amongst several smaller ship classes for testing, only then building something like this after the technologies are mature.
Heh heh. I have. Just waiting (hoping) some of them can be visited by the Trekyard Captain and Commander.
Couldn’t agree more... interesting concept but the specs read like they’ve been come up with by a schoolboy.
It depends on how far after Nemesis this ship would've been launched. If it's far enough, I can see how the technology would fit.
Add a Defiant class to the underbelly (like the Captains yacht on the Sovereign class) and I'm sold! Although the "hop drive" is a bit much in my opinion. Great work!
Killer ship! Awesome design and I really like the incorporating of tech from all the series and episodes. Do more!
Thanks. Yeah, I am. The shielding and jump-drive technology is something I incorporate in...well, most of my ship designs. Just a logical step. :)
Great show, love the tribute to the Arizona and a new design to the Trek Universe. This is a really cool ship.
Thanks!
This ship is a beast! Well done guys
Great design. Damn, I want that on STO.
Great 3D modeling. This show is spot on with the visuals.
STO peeps? You out there? Can this be made to happen???
Looks like one of those Federation ships NOT to piss off.....beautiful!
5:14 It's equipped with Peanut Hampers! This design violated temporal design regulations for sure.
That was my favourite episode to date, brilliant having the designer there and the amount of information was great. Also cool ship just not a looker
True story! I thoroughly enjoy it when Trekyards hosts episodes with the designers. LOVE the ones with Sternbach, Probert, and Drexler.
Great design. True battleship
that intro was awesome!!!best one yet!!!🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🖖🏽🖖🏽🖖🏽
Beautiful ship Adrian thank you and thank you guys for showing this ship again wish I could play this ship on Armada2.
LOL. True story!
Ah! Found the 'battlestar' of Star Trek again. Want to see this in STO. IT's natural for the Federation to construct insanely huge ships, 2 or 3.. especially after the Borg and Dominion threats and Voyager's intel into the DQ.
I would LOVE to see this in STO!!
I keep coming back to this episode this is one of the best designs I seen a long time this should have been on Star Trek Picard with captain Riker commanding the USS Arizona
Thanks! Riker can captain this ship ANY day!
HELL YAH! now that's AWESOME! absolutely love the design and concept. Battleships forever!
This is the most beautiful ship in all of Star Trek.
Thank you.
one of the best fan designs 👌
She's a true battle ship.
The Arizona class should have an upper docking port which will hold a recessed Defiant Class Corvette. Behind the main bridge would be a good spot for quick access by bridge crews. Manned during red alerts it could have an explosive launch system for fast release, include say 24 light attack craft, 12 heavy bombers and numerous scout and drones. Startrek fleet battles should incorporate more smaller ships that pack a hard punch. Torpedo boats in massed waves could take down shields of big ships allowing the light attack craft to rip them apart. The strategy of starfleet battles is laughable... I love Honor Harrington for the strategic battles of the space fleets.
Not Defiants, but...

(1a) Lower shuttle hangar - isfj1009.deviantart.com/art/Star-Trek-USS-Arizona-732704749
I'd like to see that
OOH! A full ep on the Arizona now? NICE!
This is a pretty cool idea, a mobile starbase/battleship. I like the turrets for the pulse phasers as they pack a bigger punch then the normal phasers and they don't have to fire in one direction like on the Defiant. I could see a few of the highest turrets, at least one fore and one aft changed from the phaser cannons to spinal phaser lances. Give the ship that "big gun" feeling like the battleships of old. They carried the biggest guns they could and the lance phaser is the biggest gun in the Federation arsenal. Also the broadside from this ship has to be insane.
Hehheh. Insane. And yet..."logical" :)
Well, could you imagine if there were 4 phaser lances on your ship doing a broadside on a Borg cube? Add the rest of the weapons on that side and the Borg would even take notice with that first salvo.
True story!! And yet, those phaser-pulse turrets, powered by enhanced Borg-inspired power nodes, could give a phaser lance a run for it's money. And, they have a much higher firing-rate.
Now add those nodes to the phaser lance. Remember the phaser lance was able to destroy a Negh'var heavy battlecruiser with a few shots, blew right through their shields and hull and kept going. The Negh'var is the largest Klingon warship at the time. not saying replace all the pulse phasers but imagine the damage that could be achieved with the two technologies combined.
I did lol. Believe you me.
It's a federal star destroyer.
LOL
That’s a real pretty ship you got there. It would be cool to see it in a fan film.
Thanks! Yeah, would be cool. I have someone making an LCARS MSD for one of my other starships. An LCARS of THIS ship would be...emotional. ;)
Awesome ship I like the idea of a federation ship that isn't so outclassed in terms of scale to its enemy's such as the Dominion Voth or Borg. Not sure on all the gadgets tho, think it would have been fine without the jumpdrive or cloak but that's just my opinion. Keep up the good work hope to see more ships like this
Thanks. Yeah, I wanted to incorporate the jump drive to facilitate it's role in both the primary tactical role as well as it's secondary exploration role. Me too. Captain? Commander? I got the ships when you have the available time slots. :) :)
Ok very important question which deck has the gelato machines?
I would have added 4 Defiant Class fighters attached to the outside of the ship. These would have been used as Squad leader ships. Make 4 fighter squads of the smaller fighters inside the hangers and have one Defiant per squad as the lead ship of each squad. Also the ship could tap the warp cores of each Defiant ship to pull extra power if needed.
I wanted to avoid the Defiant approach - reminded me too much of the Prometheus-maneuver. But a thought!
It's got plenty of Delta Fighters on board.
With the dual warp cores and Borg-inspired power nodes throughout, no need to pull power from anything. ;)
Ok not only is this the biggest ship that has been produced by the federation I'm pretty sure this is the biggest ship that I think any of the major powers has produced! If a Cardasian warship saw this beast coming at it, theywould be like Sir don't we have that patrol in the nimbus system on schedule we can stop our mission here and begin those patrols sir couldn't we. Gaul durack are you suggesting we retreat No NO Commamder a Cardasian soilder never runs from battle, I'm meerly suggesting we have other jobs that may take priority given that we have a planet bearing down on us! I see your point prepare to ru...ah ah I mean repriortize our missions as Gual Durack suggest! Ah commander by the way you might want to change uniforms Just suggesting sir!
Hello Sean. Is that....a fanfilm short you're suggesting??? ;) If so.....I'm in.
The rest of the Typhon Pact May have a issue with the cloak though, but I did like that in Resistance we find out that all Fed ships have the ability to cloak and it only needs the permission of the captain and one other to unlock the schematics for it to be built for the ship in question.
Oh so it’s a ship with everything in it. Of course it goes warp 9 blah blah blah and just to top it off we have 3 different engine possibilities because why not. Of yeah we also have a million torpedo launchers that happen to fire everything. And shielding that has all the different types we’ve ever heard of. Sorry for the rant just annoying and reminds me of the people who design ships with 30 warp nacelles.
And you have the right to your opinion.
You’re right but I probably shouldn’t have shared it. Sorry for the rant.
Well, I know people have ranted about the designs for the A, B, C, D, Enterprise NX, Voyager, and even the Defiant. So, I didn't take too much of an offense.
Cheers.
If they made a new show set in the post-voyager era the engineers would be using all of the promising technologies seen in all of the series, just like this ship does. Using the Cytherian technology to travel to other galaxies, Exocomps for construction and repair, along with all of the other tech in this ship are absolutely the logical next steps for the federation. Very well thought out!
Thanks! I tried lemme tell you. ;) And the Captain and Commander helped steer my way, too.
Hmm, would be quite interesting to see an animated video of this ship, fully utilizing its insane amount of weapons
That would be In-SANE!!! :) :)
Man, that is a mahusive ship, I love it!
Now that's my kind of ship. And, at long last, the Federation is implementing cloak/phase technology. To hell with the Treaty of Algeron.
Kinda sucks that Romulus got obliterated. But, what are you gonna do?
Destroyer---
That thing is a frickin WORLDSHIP
Unique design. The turrets are unique. The Aries class had them, but more like pop up almost point defense weapons. This is less subtle.
Nah, these too can retract when not being used.
Cool ship, very big and full of all sorts of great tech loved it.
Yup. Like, the holoarboretum isn't too bad.
Nice tribute to the Arizona. So these types of ship will have the names of WW2 sunken battle ships ?
Possibly. At "this time", there are the Arizona, Nimitz, North Carolina, Bismark, Eisenhower (under space trials), West Virginia (under construction).
James King Nimitz was the name of admiral of the us navy during ww2, not a battleship. Currently there is an aircraft carrier class with that name.
Yes. And there currently isn't a battlecarrier with that name. Or a Federation. Or a Starfleet. I am recognizing both vessel aspects.
Also a USS. Yamato (大和) - which would draw obvious comparisons.
She is a badass ship with a honarble naming
Could easily see this ship serving as the Command and control ship/mobile repair base for for a colonization or long distance exploration fleet. Give it a fleet of ships in the size class of the Defiant designed for mapping and exploration and I can see them swarming away from the mother ship in all directions and then returning to a link up point along the mother ships course for resupply and a crew swap. Rinse and repeat and large areas of unknown are suddenly not so unknown.
Agreed.
THAT is super cool woulda loved to see it on screen. Only thing I think would make it cooler (& more in line with the aircraft carrier feel) is on the top-rear if it had docking pads for 4 modified Defiant class ships which would detach & flank the Arizona when it comes out of warp as escorts (but docked during warp to allow the defiant class crews downtime). In a scene like recently on Picard one of these coming out of warp with all it's secondary ships spewing from it would be a definite HOLY SH!T moment
Or imagine if Seven hadn't been on Picard show instead after helping design this class (say they build 3, leave one close to Earth for home defense) Seven & another Voyager crew member (Kim?) take one back to Delta Quadrant in a series or mini series on a diplomatic mission with the species Voyager had previously encountered ... Just random show idea this ship gave me
Good thoughts!
I would love to see this guy design a TOS and TMP era version of this ship.
I think that the most impressive thing about this episode to me is that the designer has got “Trek sense”. (Common sense as to what works in terms of Star Trek.)
Granted, one thing that I personally was worried about was making my ship too powerful to the point where it is invincible or at least beyond improvement. I don't think that this ship really has got need for anything else.
Enterprise-H True, but a similar thing could be said about Borg cubes, tactical cubes, and fusion cubes.
Nice. Arizona being honored. Captain Foley, where can I get one for Star Trek online?😁
Lou Ferrao right...I'd love to have one ....and match it up to a star destroyer
Bro, yall should totally do these style vids but for real life ships.
wonder how this ship compares to the vesta class or the fan theurgy class (multi-vector dreadnaught)?
I love the amount of weapons and the fact that it's the same length as an Imperial class Star Destroyer.
My, sort of influence, for the weapons was DS9, when all those weapon units started popping out from all over the place.
So like, I love the return of Exo-comps and the successes in integration of Slipstream and Borg tech because I feel like those are obvious concepts that get kind of ignored... but this feels like the Mary Sue of starships.
Thanks. Yeah, I understand. But the same coulda been said about the Bog vessels as well as Admiral Janeway's future-enhanced Voyager. Likewise, the Voth ship or the Tamarian starship. Just a different level of design. Given Starfleet's encounter with the Borg and during the Dominion War, was seriously lacking.
If I remember correctly, and I might be wrong - Arizona and Excalibur rolled out in that era between ST Klingon Academy and Starfleet Command 3. I gave a nod to Excalibur as the one I favored getting a Starfleet Starbase class warpcore in SC3. I don't know exactly, but I was always in favor of a superbattleship design that could put more maneuverability and firepower against a single opponent and Excalibur seemed to do that for me.
Now this would be fun in STO
Conclusion:
The Arizona-class would Jolly Stomp a Borg Cube.... probably
Tactical Cube....probably.
I wonder if they used the Dilithium crystals from the transwarp Experiment, generate all that power that ship needs do battle if need be? Awesome tribute to the Arizona!
Tech came from Cytherians. But much of it classified under Section 31. Them secrets. lol
It a starfleet battlestar!
Yes I said it, and I know I’m going to get yelled at for it.
That said, if you’re going to set up camp in the gamma quadrant you NEED a ship like this, a mobile Star base. It is a very cool idea/concept
But it’s still a battlestar.😜
That’s just my opinion, you’re results may vary.
(1) No worries
(2) Hmmm. A battlestar with Federation/Starfleet tech and other goodies.
(3) No worries.
This ship should be the next Enterprise NCC 1701
Phantastic detailed design, very good job. But I hope there is no need for so heavily armed vessels in the future. I would invest more in shield technology and other defence systems. But it's a long road from the Vulcan hello to the Organians welcome.
True story. Enterprise-D I imagine brought back LOTS of technological goodies. But darn that Section21 and their secret-keeping. lol
Arizona Class Battleship.....Love the design....i agree....
Thank you!
This ship should be on Star Trek online in the game
I could only dream.
Consider this, during the TNG era Starfleet has its ass handed to them by the Borg twice, the Dominion and it’s Flagship by the Scimitar. It seems only logical that they would finally create a overpowered warship to overpower any current and future threat. Even in a post scarcity economic like Starfleet, there wouldn’t be many of these ship, maybe 4, one stationed near each major threat zone.
I came up with 7. Close though. At least 2 or three would be dedicated missions beyond Federation space well into the Delta and Gamma quadrants.
The borg encountered a few thousand civilizations... and assimilated them. There is a reason we only encountered a handful in that quadrant......
I like this design. The gun turrets remind me a bit of the Battlestar Galactica gun turrets which is just fine by me on this design.
Thanks. And as Captain illustrated, it's main weapons can be tucked away when not needed.
Biggest ship EVER in ST? Wow!
Still smaller than Enterprise J though.
@@isfj1009
True.
Where is it possible to get the 3D Model of it?
Not sure. I did upload it's file onto Shapeways and they did a 14" 3D-print of it but almost cost me $600! But I had to do it! LOL
Id love to see a Federation/Klingon hybrid call it the USS MOG
Should be called Don't Fuck With Me Class.:D
Kristjan Brezovnik lol. That's what people had suggested after the preview of my ship.
A ship of this size in my opinion would probably be launched in the 26th century.
Finally, Star Trek gets thier own Battlestar Galactica. The creator has done an awesome job with this ship. Some Trek fans will undoubtedly will say that is ship has no business in Star Trek. Probably the same ones that say Star Trek Discovery isn't Star Trek. Bottom line...This ship is awesome and finally rotation turrets on a Starfleet ship. This ship needs to be included via Star Trek Online.
Thanks! If only. :)
The bottom 2 sets of fighter bays look like they may fit defiant class ships which would be cool as. 2 defiants and 40+ fighter deployed in battle would be awesome to see
Michael foss Yeah, they could fit, 3/4 partially docked.
isfj1009 enough to be inside its shield and warp field to allow them to warp, jump or slipstream.. It's an awesome bahemath. 👍
The original Delta flyer normally had a complement of four or six
It did.
My only issue was with the physical turrets; I know you like them and all, but Phaser Arrays really do accomplish everything a turret and does, while taking less tech. There's a reason why they moved towards those.
Kamen Rider Blade The turrets are the pulse phasers. Which are unidirectional. That means the actual barrel has to move in order ri change the direction of fire. And we all know pulse phasers are more powerful than phasers, which is why they must be fired in pulses.
I don't doubt the fact that pulse phasers are more powerful than standard phasers when done correctly.
It's the fact that in the future, they have all these "Containment fields" / Electro Magnetic fields that they can manipulate the direction a beam travels from it's emitters. You don't need a traditional Barrel to fire said pulse phasers with future tech IMO.
If you watched enough Sci-Fi shows, there are other shows / ships where they get the exact same effect, without having a Physical Barrel. It's a step up in terms of scientific technology needed to manipulate the particles they fire. Ergo more futuristic.
Kamen Rider Blade just going off and staying within star trek canon. Anything with pulse phasers, stayed in one direction once the shot was fired.
Fair enough, but I'm thinking further into the future.
Kamen Rider Blade and straying away from star trek canon.
Looks cool and well thought out. :-)
Donald Hill Thanks.
It's a Star Trek version of the Battlestar Galactica no?
Big. Powerful. Poses a powerful punch? I guess so.
isfj1009 nicely said sir!
BUT does she have an Adama aboard?
Now I want to design my version of a Delta Fighter with RCS fins!
Totally do it!!! :)
@@isfj1009
If/when I get around to it, I'll show you some concept sketches!
Wow! Nice Namedroping! USS Bismarck. i loved her as the Proxima class Battleship in STL. of course its because im german! Jawohl mein Herr! ;) Someone make that ship class canon please?! And yes he totally should create more ships! he shows talent.
Yes, please. And thank you.
No thanks needed. You earned it.
Who’s still here in 2022
It should have been the “Alaska Class.” For the biggest state in the union.
The lines are absolutely gorgeous! A bit of streamlining of the nacelles/pylons would be nice, but that's just my opinion. Her arsenal would be an easy match for a Jem'hadar battleship
Thanks. Yeah. My notion was, as the Commander put it, something to produce the raw power necessary for all it's systems; on a proven nacelle design. Given it's phasing cloak and arsenal of photon, quantum, and transphasic torpedoes...Hell yeeaaah.
84 torpedo launcher 68 phaser banks primary and secondary shields armor plating phase cloak, fighter groups, and a marine detachment she a predator but image is it had 3-4 special hard point docking clamps to carry her own escort of 4 defiant too
Is there a written breakdown of this class ship anywhere? Was wondering if the launch bays could be modified to carry several Defiant class ships?
Although i have details of the ship, as discussed, I approached this from a visual effects team, as opposed from the writers team. Lol none of the bays are large enough to dock a Defiant class.
@@isfj1009 Reason I was asking. I like to write stories as a hobby. My last outline I put down had a Star Trek Series after Voyager. Now that the Cardassians were a part of the Federation. A new Cardassian captain comes up with a cool idea to save the federation no matter what. He would take the Arizona out of drydock refit it and redub it the USS Texas (Another great battleship in history). Then take groups from all over the federation onboard to start a new part of the Federation galaxies away. They would not have a destination until the ship was on its way. That way no Federation person or computer would have a record. They would set up a new federation colony but would need small ships at first to protect them. So I was hoping the Arizona could be modified to have a couple Defiant type ships inside. Course I suppose they could take them broken down. Then assemble them once they found the first suitable solar system. If you want to see a copy of my outline just email me. randallj66@gmail.com
@@JeffreyRandall Well, the inside of the rear of the secondary hull, the flat part would be juuuust about looking enough to support 2 docked Defiant's.
@@isfj1009 Thanks for the Input. Have a very Merry Christmas.
@@JeffreyRandall and you too.
I would only put the two top nacelles above the secondary hull. Other than that freaking beautiful.
Needs them for the extra power. Especially to generate a stable subspace field distortion for the graviton drive.
The original Delta flyer was designed by Tom Paris Harry Kim and lieutenant Tores
It was.
Is this the first time you've interviewed a designer? If not this would be an awesome to do from time to time.
Oscar Castillo Nope. They do this occasionally. It's awesome!!
Hello! I believe we've done close to 100 designer interviews with people like Doug Drexler, Rick Sternbach, John Eaves, Andrew Probert and more. They were more frequent in our first 2 years as we were covering the most famous ships...but we've urm...already done all those interviews so we are working on new content haha! But yes just search a famous ship and we probably have a designer episode on it/
You know I really wish this was in Star Trek enterprise I wish they would’ve kept that TV series going
