To remove phone number from your Google account using your Android device open any web browser. Then here you have to open a website call my account.
google.com. Now you will be automatically logged into your Google account. If not you have to log in. After that tap on this "Personal info". Scroll down and here you will be able to see your phone number. Tap on it. Tap on the phone number and if you want to delete the phone number tap on this delete icon here and then you have to confirm whether this account belongs to you or not. So select this option "continue" and use your fingerprint or password. Again tap on this Delete icon here and then if you select this option "Remove number", the phone number will be removed from Google account.
