Do you find that your edges actually stay down, as in, they are slick and laid? We have the same exact hair and for years I never worried about edges and just recently I used butters, cremes, edge control-none of them work. I’m more concerned with having a smooth looking ponytail though and just find with my texture, or so I think, that look is impossible. Also, are you able to actually put your hair in a bun? I realized a while back that my hair doesn’t bend, hopefully that makes sense, so it’s hard to wrap it in circles so to speak and bend it without it being wet.
I understand you. I do not care for or fancy sleek ponytail or edges. I like the texture of my hair showing through so I hardly think about it sleeking down or look for products to.

If i need more volume, i wrap braiding hair that matches my hair texture around my hair or use clip-in ponytail that matches it
