    I am well aware that there is no way I could taste and feel the gratification of this meal. That I am quite lucky that I can go to my kitchen and cook myself something real good with condiments to give it flavoring with the talent that my father helped me achieve (him being a chef for over 25 years), but I am positive that, ....that meal has got to be the most satisfying meal of all. To have worked from absolutely nothing into what he has managed to achieve, I am beyond amazed. I am jealous that I probably won't have ever that same satisfaction as this talented, hardworking, intelligent, wise man. Thank you for this content. You deserve much more attention then what you are probably getting for all this hard work. God bless you, and may you only continue to do great. Hat of to you! :)

    • @SSanf
      @SSanf 5 років тому +5

      It would be nice to have options. But, using what nature has provided until he has basic necessities covered was clearly the best choice. Comfort items after he has enlarged his basic food opportunities in case these fail. He needs back up food sources. Chickens to start and add a couple of breeding pigs and goats. That along with the garden from the seeds he gathered will give him much more security. After that, such things as pottery and furniture.

    • @IberianCraftsman
      @IberianCraftsman 5 років тому +2

      cooking in bamboo is healthier, sometimes clay can contain heavy metals and change the taste of food unless you glace it, he could make bricks for building more durable structure though, some concrete and pottery for carrying water is handy, or for having a deposit where he can have some living fish, although he pretty much solved his water problems with that channelling, what amazes me is that the bamboo still looks super green and healthy, could it be absorbing the water maybe? it still also has some leaves.

    I bet that tasted good in many ways. Nobody can say you don't earn it haha!
    Didn't you make clay pots in another video? Use them for rice cooking.
    I wonder if the fish are self reproducing if there are enough of them in the fish pond, so you don't have to get a new batch eventually?

    It's like magic. You film everything in detail but not the rice becoming flour. It suddenly appears as rice flour.

    • @travispluid3603
      @travispluid3603 5 років тому +2

      Dude, that's not rice flour. That's the casing that got crushed off. XP
      And the reason he didn't show it is probably because he was doing, I don't know, felling that bamboo we see him coming back with after he got the rice in the hammer?

    • @Kerem-qh1jm
      @Kerem-qh1jm 5 років тому +1

      Yeah you may be right. It just didn't feel right for him to skip that bit... Remember him cutting that big tree whole day and recording it.

      @travispluid3603 5 років тому

      @@Kerem-qh1jm I mean, he was out and about and couldn't keep an eye on the camera. He chopped up a fair amount of bamboo out there, probably took a good while.

    I think you should do something that can skim all the algae off the surface. That way the fish can survive longer

    • @airforce9872
      @airforce9872 5 років тому

      those kinds of fish can survive in muddy puddles for months, algae is no issue for them :)

    • @tristinlegacy
      @tristinlegacy 5 років тому

      Algae is only an issue if there not much oxygenation. His water flows so it wouldnt matter much. I'm sure the fish prefer the hiding places
