From the early drainage tunnel to this.. The whole trip has been amazing!! You’ve been a blast to watch. There’s so much to the project but also the quality film making. I’m confident I can speak for most in saying this is exactly what the audience has wanted during this whole trend. A real journey! Sincere congratulations!! This channel deserves so much props. Bravo! :) Good luck with the future!

Some time ago I`ve seen one of your videos where you`ve been making some tools out of iron. Last week I realized that I can`t recall the method, so I looked it up again and watched it. By the end of the video a decision was made: I`ve decided to watch all your almost 350 videos! :D After 4 days I`m at this video, and first time in my life I saw how rice is being processed. I`ve learnt a lot from your content, can`t stop watching. Also I`m very pleased to see that the types of "this is just a copy of yaadee yaadee yaa" comments have died out. It took a year but got there. :) Truely the sign of respect that you deserve, Mr. Duong! :) I`m happy for you to see the positive changes in the comment section. Looking forward to see your whole 6 year journey. 💪😎👍
I remember when I was a kid, we would go to my grandparents village and they pound rice every morning like this. I tried it once and got sore on my palm. Your video is bringing me back to all those times😚
I enjoy many of your videos. It reminds me of the skills passed down through family and neighbors many many years ago. Thank you for your efforts. Well done.
Well, I am pretty sure this isn't the way big factory farms do it. This is primitive methodology. Civilization and technology have freed most of human kind from this kind of backbreaking labor. And, that is a wonderful thing. I have an even greater appreciation for those who took courses in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and helped us all rise above scratching the ground and depending solely on the gods for sustenance. But, I see great value in preserving ancient skills lest we ever have to fall back on them to survive as a species. These skills absolutely need to be preserved in our herd memory. Besides, they are fun to watch.
I remember you said your grandfather was your main source for this traditional knowledge. Is he still alive? I'm really impressed by your content! Thank you.

You did a good job! In Chinese characters rice means "米", and this letter can be separated 八十八 (88). Ancient people said sowing, harvesting and preparing rice needs 88 steps, it is so hard working. My grandmother used this kind of molar. She always said "Do not leave your rice. Just for a bowl of rice, farmers are suffering their job." It reminds my childhood. P.S. I am wondering about cooking rice with primitive tools. I think ceramic pots are not enough for rice (pilav), but congee.

it will took weeks of choping, burning, patching, etc to make decent floating canoe. But yes, it can be done.
Making a canao out of smaller trees or bamboos would be far more efficient
Massive amount of work and time when it wouldn't be any use to him!!
