I recommend the Gazelle T4 Plus if you haven't purchased your tent yet. It is a bit larger for overlanding however, the extra room without the goofy doors is well worth the extra space.
About a month ago we camped at a dispersed camp near MRNP, it was a rather buggy spot, as soon as i turned on our Thermacell like the one you showed on here the mosquitoes left us alone, no more bites. I'd say the first test was a success!
Yeah no doubt. Both years we've been there now it has been uncomfortably hot! Thats part of the reason we left on Saturday to head into the mountains to camp haha
I was your campsite neighbor last year in the jeep grand Cherokee awesome to see how much your channel has grown. was not able to make the show this year but it looked fun.
Ahhh, yeah man, bummer we missed you! We were there Thurs & Fri bailed Saturday morning to go explore and camp in the Cascades. Hopefully we'll see you next year. Pro-Tip .... there was a really fun bourbon happy hour Fri night that a lot of UA-camrs hang out at. Sounds like it might become an annual thing....so if it does, you should check it out!
I'll max out all my cards if I ever go to one, lol. I love the Defiance multi-tool. Their coffee maker French press not too much. The Agawa saw is one of my favorite. I still got the original blade, now rusty but still sharp! Hopefully, you'll love the T3!
Haha, for real. It's a good thing we couldn't buy that GX550. Made the mistake of showing it to Christine, and she loved it. 🤣 Good to hear about your experience with the Agawa saw. Seems like everyone who has one swears by it!
We were torn between the two, but ended up with the T3 just because of the packed size. It's already too damn big as it is! Hopefully we won't regret it
We saw the Gazelle tents at OverlandPNW. Never seen them before, but wife & I were thoroughly impressed! We just got a new tent @ the Sportsmans Show, and I was admittedly bummed we didnt need a new tent... Dude had great prices, too! Orange one was like $260. (Keep in mind, peeps, these were show prices)
We bought the 6 sided Gazebo at the 2022 Overland PNW at the show price and it has been one of the best purchases we have made in our Overland gear. We use it to sit in when we have had enough of the wind, escaping pesky, biting bugs and it is where we set up our portable dog kennels for our pups to sleep in and they have cover from the elements. Can’t recommend Gazelle products enough.
@@WheretoNextOverland it was a french press. Nothing extra clever but we just loved their quality so much that we took the package deal with the french press and their multi tool. :)
I have the Agawa saw and it is great. I also have the Sven saw which is another great saw but the Agawa sets up faster. If you get one get the 24”. Looking forward to seeing your Gazelle in action they are great tents.
Good to hear you like your Agawa saw. I'm definitely leaning towards the 24" with my thought being that I want a saw that can cut through downed trees that my little electric chainsaw can't handle
Hey, thanks! You're right .... shouldve been our #1 haha. We're pretty happy with how they turned out. Hopefully we'll have a few things available for purchase soon for anyone interested!
What an absolutely amazing expo! Love it! Might need to have a bit of cash in my pockets...or maybe none at all as I think I'd have shoppers remorse pretty quickly. lol Yup, if the mosquito repellent works it is needed in Nova Scotia for sure! I bet it took some time to take it down to you 10 favorites. Excellent stuff! Bruce and Otis
@@WheretoNextOverland it's close... but the RTT when they are both empty. in the Gazelle taking out the mattress and storing it inside the truck was the biggest "hassle" total tear down probably 20 minutes. RTT. 5 MINS.
Turns out the Toyota Land Cruiser 250 is not a true Land Cruiser. Its the discount platform they've been selling overseas.... This, the huge price decrease. The hype is dying almost as fast as it came up.
Yep, it's a Prado. But, whether we like it or not, I can almost guarantee it'll be a massive success for Toyota (especially compared to the 200 Series in the US market that they sold basically none of)

Danners are great. So great they leave the booth unattended and let the product do the talking.
Haha, right? Danners are pretty much the only thing I wear any more

Works like magic!
I was there Sunday! It was pretty stinkin' hot and our dog didn't love that, so we moved through pretty fast and then left. Lots of good stuff to see!

love the off the cuff content...thank you for sharing
Thanks and glad you enjoyed it!
Nice to see David from off the grind drop in
Haha yeah.....that was too good not to leave in. Plus, David is pretty much UA-cam royalty at this point, so it helps my cred ..... right?? 🤣
Danner makes great boots. So glad I got the danner boot during my time with the Marine Corps.
You guys are going to love the Gazelle!!!! Less than 2min set up solo!!!!
We can have a setup race next time we're out camping together! 😆
We got a Gazelle last year and absolutely love it! I know you will too!

We were there Sat and Sun. Bummer we did not see you. The Wildland coffee is a must have!

There is so much to learn from you people!
Most important lesson: leave your wallet in the truck if you're not trying to buy ALL the things! 🤣

Please go for the T4 overland tent. It offers better space and the ability to stand up inside.

Yeah! We weren't really planning on buying a tent at the show, but their show special was too good to pass up

Awesome! We saw the gazebo, and it looked pretty great!
We have the Defiance Kitchen tools, it is so awesome and cleverly made. Did you also get their coffee maker as a package?
Ooohhhh, I didn't even notice the coffee maker, we were so focused on the bbq multi-tool haha

Thank you! And yes, NOT bringing your wallet with you is a pretty good strategy to keep things in check. Haha
“Doesn’t require any electricity or gas”, “you just need to have a propane grill to heat the rock up for 30 mins” 🤣😂
Not if you've got a campfire going. Just toss it in the coals for 30 mins.
the gazelle t3x looks nice I would like to get that if ever go back to ground tent.
I have a t4 and a hardshell RTT
Between your T4 and RTT, which is quicker to set up and tear down?
@@WheretoNextOverland it's close... but the RTT when they are both empty.

@Sergiop4x yeah that makes sense .... the mattress is the most cumbersome part for us by far when it comes to ground tent camping
When and where is the next one in the Seattle area?
Bend, OR ... happens every year in July
The sleeping blanket is not super small! ! ! It should pack down much smaller
$500 for a blanket. They are nuts.
Where to Next Overland merch !?
Coming soon (I mean, probably ...)!
I just stopped the video to buy the AGAWA Saw!
Yesss! That was seriously one of my favorite things. We'll definitely be picking up that hatchet / axe as soon as it's available!
@@WheretoNextOverland My rig is a lot bigger than yours, and I have a full sized axe and shovel mounted on the jack bracket of the pop-up camper

I'm pretty sure OceanGate thought their sub was a game changer before the catastrophic implosion happened.
Extra salty now?
And “next level”…
Also, Gerber sells that saw for $20 and it’s been out forever. Not doing your fan base any favors by not saving them money
Please, point me to where Gerber sells a foldable handsaw with a 24-inch blade for $20. I'll wait....
