Happy to see that your FMQ templates will work with high shank machines so long as the correct foot is purchased but I do have a question if you don't mind: I just read a review on Amazon that these templates can only be used if the throat is at least 7.25". Is this correct? I have a vintage high shank machine that I will have to measure the throat to see if it has the necessary clearance if what the reviewer stated is accurate. Hello Helens, and thanks for your comment! That review your read is not accurate. Having a larger throat space will make it easier to do free motion quilting, especially on a larger quilt, but the throat space doesn't need to be that long to be able to use the templates.
