    Absolutely perfect! I was searching for some ideas to make some quality and good looking cords for powered speakers (only 2 speakers per connection). Cut the wiring in half! Thank you the Amazon find was the missing piece I needed! Ingenious!!

    Soldered connections on high-draw AC lines is a no-go for me. If those cables ever overheat that solder joint could fail. You need to find a way to crimp or weld those connections.

    • @LearnLizard
      @LearnLizard  Рік тому +2

      That's really good advice- appreciate it. As my lights are smaller and low draw everything has been working well with my splitters. In fact I've made several more and use them regularly, but crimping is a great suggestion.

      @@LearnLizard I hear you. Under normal operating conditions, as long as the current draw of the fixtures is within the amapcity of the cables you should be fine.

    My advice:
    -Leave the cables longer as you never know.
    -Crimp the wires together with something like wire end ferrules or small splices.
    -Lose the tape and silicon, rough up a bit of the outer sheath of the cable and fill those T-splices with a suitable epoxy.
    That gets you in "factory style" territory.

    Hey can you do a video on making an outdoor lightshow (at night) for example how to make the smoke not disapear afte 10 seconds

    • @LearnLizard
      @LearnLizard  4 роки тому +2

      When you are outside it can be really hard to get the smoke to hang in the air for any length of time. I've been doing some experimenting with both my hazer and my fog machine trying to get some good effects- thanks for the idea of making a video about it...

      @@LearnLizard Thanks so much for posting there videos. Due to the stay at home... I have been able to retool my bands entire setup. I purchased the lixada moving heads you recommended, learned how to program DMX (Via DMXIS and Abelton) based on your tutorials. Thanks... as soon as I can safely play a show the band is gonna be on fire!

    i need help,,, how use Controller 240 Disco,,, DMX Adress, select speed, use joystick..... how put adress 12 moving head

    • @LearnLizard
      @LearnLizard  4 роки тому

      Hi- The Disco240 Controller is set up to control fixtures with up to 16 channels. To make it work properly with your movers, you would set the DMX starting address of the first one to 1, the second one to 17, the third to 33, and so on (adding 16 to each until you have all 12 starting addresses set.) Then you can pick each fixture (or scanner as the Disco240 calls them) on the controller and adjust the parameters. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!
