He pretends to be a cop very well. Pity he doesn't seem to understand what it is they actually do on a daily basis.
You clearly have no idea who Reacher is. He is not a cop, doesn't pretend to be a cop. He has a sense of right and wrong and a big pair of fists to help the bad guys see they are wrong.

I just love this series so much! Alan Ritchson is the perfect choice for Jack Reacher and there are so many fantastic books for them to adapt! Can’t wait to see them do Persuader next!

All them fight scenes with even multiple Thugs and a runty pip-squeak gets the best of him in the final episode of the first season. Hollywood is so stupid.

It a TV show and Alan Ritchson is an actor so he doesn’t know what Police really go though. I think it’s better orient our focus on the lapsed duty of our Federal government feeble and spineless president their policies that error on the side of being to compassionate to criminals.
