It's so nice hearing culture shocks from people who have experienced it first hand. In the aspect of leaving a comfort zone, I feel if you really want to do better in life, you have to leave that zone that is comfortable. Thank you for the tip on learning German. 🙏

Yeah. You have to leave your comfort zone.

We really differ between friends (Freunde) and acquaintances (Bekannte).
So if you are not a kid in a school or kidergarten, that often has a new friend and two days after you don't like that guy anymore until a week later, you are best friends again, as an adult, you differ.
We can also have a good relationship to neighbours or acquaintances, but still we don't have to be friends. We take our friendship very seriously.
The fourth one is the most important one:
Learn German as soon as possible.
German is the main and (besides Sorbian or Danish) only language in Germany.
Even if many Germans speak English, we like to make jokes in German and we use German all the time if possible.

      Can't agree less.
Learning German is important and I quite like that relationships are well defined.
Thank you also for your positive comment. I've received so many negative comments on this, without people understanding my intent in the video. I'm not trying to talk down on any culture, just sharing the things that were new for me.
