Dr. Berg, I think you need to write a book explaining which supplements to take when, with what combination, and why. And if you’re feeling up to it, which supplements or minerals to take for certain diseases. I take notes, but I feel like I might not be the only one who would want this kind of book. Thanks!
The info is out there. Options ? Have your nutrients measured with blood test. Look at other sources. Not all holistic views will agree. My opinion. There are many variables with everyone mainly because of gut flora/bacteria / microbiome. Nobody has the same acid and type of bacteria which affects what you can absorb. Like he says you can take good stuff but it gets canceled potentially with other foods or alcohol or whatever. Set your body up as he says by addressing things in order. If you are insulin resistant to whatever degree , that has to be fixed. Not saying any nutrients will get to the cellular level but that has to be fixed. Then your gut microbes. This is why everyone is different. This also affects which nutrients get absorbed and which ones that don't . So many variables. As Dr Ekberg ( not Berg)you gotta play with or adjust what you need based on symptoms and how how you feel. Then as you move along over months test your levels based on blood test. But, remember blood tests can't measure what's inside the cell. Good luck
Dont follow what I’m doing but I’ve been taking 60,000 IU of Vitamin D3 which has K2. Along with many other supplements at mostly regular dosages but the D3 has helped a lot with immune system, relieved my allergies and overall health.
Thank you from Singapore Dr Berg. Vitamin D 50,000 IU with K. I use your brands Benfothiamine Magnesium and Zn. For menopause women like me, sleep is now 8 hours! Doctors in Singapore are warning of D toxicity. I have learned to listen to my body!
They started saying that in the USA. I don't listen to them, I listen to Dr Berg. The toxicity of vit D is a lie! They know we feel better with plenty ofD
I bought vitamins and supplements from a well-known company. I never imagined that they would put maltodextrin in them, but several did. I’ve switched to Dr. Berg’s and my health has improved significantly.
Cod liver oil for Omega-3, vitamin A, vitamin D. Nutritional yeast for B vitamins. Red meat for iron. Eggs for all kinds of nutrients. Lots of salads for potassium. Always try to get your nutrients in a natural form.
Regarding the potassium, swiss chard is the most potent source calorie for calorie. I just wanted to point that out since a lot of people aren’t eating swiss chard in their salad. White potatoes surprisingly also have a lot of potassium but a much higher calorie count, and they are not low carb like Dr. Berg encourages. I was hypokalemic and had dangerously low potassium so learned all these things. By the way, the hypokalemia stemmed from drinking too much licorice root tea which blocks potassium absorption. 😮 I never knew a tea could almost kill me, but it did.😢
I have been taking Dr. Berg all vitamins, gallbladder formula, probiotics, and digestive enzymes religiously for over a year now. I feel more energetic and less stressed, I noticed less inflammation, and I can eat pretty much everything where before I felt discomfort and bloating after a meal. Thank you, Dr. Berg !! You are a life saver.
A lot of women have digestive issues from high estrogen (and low thyroid, causing less biles to be made by the liver and subsequent gall-stones and gallbladder romoval). Bile salts, ox biles, TUDCA all help.
My doctor prescribed 50,000 i.u. of vitamin d3 weekly. Took that for many years until the pharmacist tried to give me vitamin d2, saying "its the same thing". Its not. After listening to your videos, I stopped taking the prescribed D3 and bought the purest form of vitamin d3, 10,000 i.u. I 💩 you not, I noticed my hair growing back in addition to other positive changes. This did not happen with the prescribed vitamin d3. I listened to more of your videos. Bought the purest form of magnesium glycinate, 120mg. Not only am I feeling like I have more energy, I sleep like a rock! Next, I'm adding Lysine to the mix. The value of this information is priceless. I'm tackling one issue at a time while listening to these videos over and over. Thank you so much!
How this teaching is needed, oh my ❤ I considered myself very health aware before, but even then I took multivitamins, though better quality as I bought them in the health store, but still... I realized after listening to this man that even the good quality ones have some of the low quality vitamins. Now I take beef liver supplement (from free cows), natural vitamin C (from actual fruit), D3, magnesiumglycinate, k2, Brewers yeast, nutritional yeast, seaweed (pills), krill oil, and a few others. I also take fermented dandelion juice and eat saurkraut and kimchi. Now everything is natural and easily absorbed. Thank you ❤
I would love to see a video/chart organizing all of the major supplements and nutrients (and the recommended formulation, eg folate or glyphosphste) into a schedule that maximize their benefit by avoiding taking things together that interfere with each other, or taking them at the times you’ll best absorb them (eg before sleep, after sleep, or split across the day because of short halflife). I’ve tried making this for myself based on the advice in your many videos, but I don’t feel I have a good grasp on it yet. Basically it’s “a recommended schedule for taking multiple supplements”.
Fantastic video. I've learned this myself a while ago but it's so good to show people this. Before I buy any supplement I make sure to compare at least 50 different ones to each other and most of the time only 3-5 products even make the cut. Most have got the worst forms of the nutrients, loads of starches (or even maltodextrin) and magnesium stearate and loads of other completely unnecessary ingredients. Do your research!!
@SusanHarrell530 I've seen you commenting "which vitamin? which probiotic? which mineral?" a lot here. It seems like you just want easy quick answers and aren't willing to do research. If this is really about your children then it should be worth every bit of effort. Stop being lazy and get to researching.

DR BERG, GREAT EDUCATIONAL VIDEO ONCE AGAIN!!! Dr Berg what do you think about NAC? Do you think it's safe to take 600 mg 2x a day if so how long should one take it should they rotate it off certain months? I think you should make a separate video on what nutrients and vitamins average person should take on a daily basis.. I myself think a daily vitamin, CoQ10,vitamin d3- K2 mk7,B complex, OMEGA-3 FISH OIL. , there's some others but those are the main and of course trace minerals. I apologize about the long video I'm speaking on a mic🎙️, so it just keeps texting as I speak. YOU'RE 100% RIGHT ABOUT THE MALTODEXTRIN IT'S IN A LOT OF PROTEIN POWDERS, AND MASS BUILDING POWDERS, AND DO NOT TAKE SYNTHETIC VITAMINS, YOU MAY HAVE TO PAY A LITTLE MORE BUT YOU WANT TO GET THE RIGHT STUFF FOR YOUR BODY GREAT VIDEO TAKE CARE BE SAFE PEACE AND BLESSINGS. ✌🏼🙏🏼.
I hope Dr. Berg sees this and that would be a great video. I have grandchildren and as a child I remember being called lazy however ,there were many times I didn’t feel well and/or I felt fatigued even after sleep and I didn’t know how to explain to my parents how or why so vitamins for children are also important. ❤❤

Plz suggest which multivitamin brand is the best for women & men What about kids.. 10 & under can they take vitd3 with k2.. I’m confused can kids have vitd3 with k2 for teenagers & kids under 10 Thx doc❤
Ofc they can, it's essential to all humans. Regarding brand just do your research. Multivitamins are horribly formulated most of the time, it's very unlikely you'll find a good multivitamin. If you're convenience oriented without wanting to make sacrifices the best balance is: Taking D3&K2 in a combined pill with fatty meals. Magnesium bisglycinate by itself before bed, Zinc Picolinate or carnosine. The closest thing to a "multi" vitamin that makes sense to take is a b-complex. Be careful, 98% of b complexes are absolute garbage so only buy one if you're willing to go through the ingredients of 100 different ones and choose the 2-3 that are actually valid.
Growing up as a kid in the 70s in Germany, I had to swallow cod liver oil with a spoon (no capsules, I still remember it to this day, the horror of having to swallow it!) and my mother put us in front of a UV lamp in winter to make sure we got some vitamin D. I was also an avid cheese eater (still am) and thus got vit K2 with it. Scandinavian countries add vitamin D to milk and other dairy products. Kids need vitamins as well as adults, maybe even more so as they grow and need to build bones, muscles etc...

Is there any possible nutrient deficiency/imbalance for not always getting tanned in the sun? For light colored person, sometimes there is a decently good tan after a day of two in the sun (let say 30min minimum at a time), while another time the same person doesn't get any tan at all, instead might get a bit red, yet stay white at the end of the day. And after a day or two without enough sun exposure, go back to white very quickly.
Quick question Dr. Berg...I've been wanting to try to start taking a fish oil vitamin but I'm not sure if I should take a fish oil vitamin or omega 3 one...is there a difference between the 2 and which one do you recommend in taking...by the way, my reason to start taking one of these is because I've read that besides being healthy and good for you, they're also good for skin issues such as dermatitis...
Can you please make your supplements without magnesium stearate? Also, why is your cod liver oil discontinued? What are we supposed to take instead? Thank you Dr. Berg! 🙏🏻

I know someone whose legs don't tan no matter how long in the sun. I'd like to know the answer, also.
Dr Berg, the argument with higher dose of 10,000 IU is the harm in can cause with the absorption
Ty. Well done.
I have diabetic neuropathy. I didn’t know about benfotiamine.
Thanks!!!💓
Good morning to the Good doctor, the hair looks good in black😅👍
Does niacin still cause the awful scalp flush?
I dislike that!
I just bought synthetic folic acid supplements-drat!
Thank you Dr. Berg!
You can get non-flush niacin but it doesn’t have as many benefits.
"Niacinimide" is supposedly the non-flushing niacin.
I take digestive enzymes to help foods break down and increase the assimilation of nutrients.
Do you have a video on Fulvic/Humic acid?
Can you please make your supplements without magnesium stearate? Also, why is your cod liver oil discontinued? What are we supposed to take instead? Thank you Dr. Berg! 🙏🏻
What is different between a natural and synthetic vitamin? Is it not just the same molecule the body expects?
Thank you! Great information I watch many of your videos.
I’m on 2000iu Vd3 I’m going to upper this to 3 a day I’m 36 and my bones pop and cramp up quite often. I’ve had vd3 deficiency since I was 20 years when I was finally checked and my muscles are feeling much weaker I’m trying to keep doing planks to get them back stronger I just feel like I need to take so many more vitamins on top of thyroid medication I’ve been thinking to take iodine drops to help out but I don’t want to get my thyroid confused as we kinda got it in a good range I can definitely feel when it’s off I’m also on iron I just feel like a pill addicted every-time I order my meds 😩 I know that I need them in order to get better and feel better. I appreciate all you do for everyone ❤
Watch out with iron. It is not good for us in pill form. Make sure you take k2 and magnesium with D3.
Thank You Lord Jesus Christ Amen
