Ok, first of all those two silicone ends are for fingers protection, you hold on it and you don't need to press blades as much as you described. When you put it on the table,it needs to be placed on a thermal bag/sleeve which is provided. Yes,it is hot all around, but the purpose is for that, that this straightener can be used as a curling tong too, when it is locked in a closed position. Sorry for your bad experience, but the reason is that you just didn't know how to use it. I have had this straightener for a few years and don't have many complaints about it, curls last long and there is no need to press blades hard. The only thing that I don't like is that those gums falling off easily😂
LOL - thanks :) @@zazilicious I've just done a different review where the appliance comes with a 'heat glove' - so I guess I'm not the only one who gets hands burnet - but the thing is - in all the reviews of appliances - NONE of them use the glove!
Hi Leenaviie Thanks so much for your comment, It's made my morning to know I'm not alone in my frustrations :).May you have endless 'good hair days'. to come x
Hi Hiba - I hope you got something from my review and it was only the straightners that are the worst ever - may you always have a good hair day. Thanks for your comment.
Hi Maggie May. Thanks for your comment I hope you enjoyed the video - I'm afraid I haven't read the manual - I rarely ever do - Maybe if I did, my life would go more smoothly :)
Hi Tarabonn - thanks for watching my video :). I've made a couple about hair straightners and had to check if it did come with a heat mat and glove - I think this one had a heat mat but the only one that came with a glove was the remington heat curling things - felt like michael jackson. . . .
Hi Kris. actually I'm not sure. . . .It's been a while since I last used it - I found my old set and went back to using them - when I next use them I'll let you know :)
Yikes anna! I don't want to put you off! I'm sure your 14 year old can probably work them better. Check out the review I did on a remington curler. And how well my daughter did my hair with it x
Hi! Could you please check the box if it says multi-voltage? I want to buy this one but couldn't find any info anywhere if I can use this in the US? Thank you!
Hi there Yoonji012. :). I don't think it's multi voltage sadly. In the UK we buy 'travel adaptors' that work for all sockets when you go to euroope and may work in the usa? Everything is so very different electrically betyween the uk and usa.

Oh thank goodness! now I know what the ends are for! I hope I haven't chucked them out ;). Thanks so much for your comment, you've really made my day.
How could you not know that
You probably shouldn't use such an items at all if you don't know how to use it safely . Useless review
You're probably right Ruta. :). Thanks for taking the time to comment :)
@@lovelyplace1937You are so nice considering how rude that person was 😮 Many have said that it burns your hands as you hold it!

Does it make a weird sound too as soon as you turn it on?
Kind of like its burning inside.
