May as well get a real single axle truck with air brakes and 5th wheel. Probably be cheaper and a lot safer But it’s an awesome trailer if that’s what you want
For what this trailer cost a person could purchase a 'Regular' 53 foot step deck that would haul probably 42k or so with air brakes pulled by single axle Class 7 tractor !
Window sticker (MSRP) on this one is right at $44K - actual selling price you could expect to be in about the $33-36K range depending on your area. This trailer could be towed safely behind a 3500 but not while being used to it’s full 40K capacity.

@@diamondctrailers more like 32,500 and I have a new RAM. There is a reason quite a few hot shots are running them. I don't hot shot but we do haul a backhoe at 21,000 so for me that damn thing is too heavy. I have a tandem dovetail with the same axle weight and it weighs 8,500 at 38 foot long. I have two issues with Diamond C Trailers.. 1. Why do y'all not offer air brakes on the step deck trailers not everyone drives a dully.. 2. I realize steal prices or up but your trailer prices are not much cheaper then that of a semi trailer.. I really love your step deck trailers with the hydraulic dove.. But no air brakes and I can't see myself spending 60 or 70k when I'm not getting what I want.. Might as well just go get a used semi trailer with air brakes and no hydraulic dovetail.. Will wait until steal prices drop and find the trailer I want with air brakes.. Thanks!
Hey there Thomas! MSRP (window sticker) is about $44K. Actual sales price varies by region and dealer but one could expect to pay in the $33-36K range. You are correct - financing is available for qualified applicants. 👌
I went to the website and built my trailer, no one ever got back to me about price? Then I inquired about a gas hydraulic pump unit instead of electric because I use multiple winches on a trailer, they said it wasn't possible, I went elsewhere and they built exactly what I wanted.
Do you have the perfect farm trailer? 34 foot with mage ramps tandem duels or tandem super singles, I think I prefer duels. Would pull with 2022. Ford f 350 single wheel 7.3 gas. Hauling round bales and tractor/ equipment
While it's true that Diamond C is first class, purchasing one just doesn't make for a very good business proposition. First, they are expensive. I'm not saying that they aren't worth it, repeat, not saying that they are not worth the price. But, when you consider all that empty weight, coupled with some of the guys out there pulling for peanuts.... I can't justify it. Just not cost effective right now.
I bought a FMAX 210 40' with deck on the neck, two boxes hydraulic dovetail, dunnage rack, 17,500lb winch extra lights, few more options, cost little over$38,000.00
There is not a truck on the market that would legally pull this trailer. I would not even use a Ford F600. Maybe a single axle semi truck such as Freightliner M2. Stop hotshotting the wrong way.

As always- drooling over you new creations!!! WAY TO GO DIAMOND C👍👍
I like the way he said that dream a little
Yes indeed these are some solid strong tough trailers
Love the helipad on top!
Lol probably could land a bird on it and still haul a load
Nice trailer
That would look good behind the mega-long 😆.
Can’t wait to see the Diamond C “TP” edition.
U will pay more in tols.
You need to buy one TP
You're famous now
tp you need to buy a diamond c gooseneck to get mot more views on yt
Like the deck over the neck! You need to offer a hinged wind deflector for it to save on the ol' parachute drag equation..
I’ve ordered an F450 Dually. My hauling gross weight is 32600. Which trailer you recommend. I have a CDL.
Freaking awesome 👏 my next purchase Diamond C
Single axle big rig to use this to its full potential!

I thought same thing.
True !
How much does this setup usually cost
I priced one out on their website and it was just shy of $70k. Yikes
Love the air ride hate the batteries
How much this trailer weighs ?
I need help ordering the same exact trailer

Would you recommend a medium duty truck for hauling to the max pay load
For sure! 4500-5500, 450-550 class truck would definitely be a better choice to maximize payload.

How much does this trailer weigh?
This trailer weighs about roughly around 11,500lbs depending on what all options you select.
Lol you wouldn't be able to haul shit behind a dually. The trailer weighs half of what a one ton will haul🤣🤣🤣🤣 to heavy.

Great question! This one is right at the 12,000lb mark - which is about 1500lbs lighter than a comparable setup on traditional I-beam trailer.

You can land a ultralight helicopter on that trailer deck!
haha! let's see it!
If l spend $50,000 or $60,000 or more on your 40,000 pound trailer it better be able to hold 40,000 on the deck .

how is this a good trailer for hotshot? it has a 12 foot neck no shot youre under 65
Neck is 9’. Some states don’t have 65’ rule. Also available in 38’ bottom deck which almost guarantees under 65’ barring a bizarre tow vehicle.
