No matter what you do , you will never get the volume of thick lather with the Speick shaving stick that you get with the Proraso cream. It’s no contest. But if it’s just a close comfortable shave you’re after, you don’t need any more lather than the thin slick lather you get with the Speick stick. Both products do a fantastic job. I love the thick cushion lather of Proraso when I’m at home. But on the road I just have to be satisfied with an extremely close and comfortable shave.

I travel extensively for work. I have a small makeup container that I put some Proraso green into, as well as a 2oz Catie’s Bubbles soap. My daily driver when home is a Futur, so I travel with a clone. Synthetics are fantastic, as you mentioned since they dry so quickly.

Great set up! How do you handle the blades while traveling?

West Coast Shaving I use a plastic AA rechargeable battery holder as a portable blade bank

As of March 2024 you can no longer carry on a DE razor with or without a blade.

My grandma👵🏿 could make a better lather! I do like that mini badger brush tho.. fit for a midget. Little person whatever.. I didn’t want you to think just a person that was smaller.. certified mini man. That kit I think would be good for kids too learning how to shave. 👍
