I love how this performer doesn’t push his voice. Leo’s it SO listenable. AND....he’s not wearing his voice out. A lesson to us all. Sounds consistent and great
we are playing Lodi California on Thursday Sept 12th at the Grape Festival.. it's only 90 minutes from you.. does that work? .. we are headlining the Thursday night main stage there.
he is way better tham Elton John and Billy Joel. actually on keyboards Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman have nothing on him.....maybe the best performer ever and soon to be in rock hall of fame!!!!!
Fantastic!!!! 1:27, especially the end of that phrase.... all you need to know that this is a voice and performer to love. Also.... is that freakin JOHN JORGENSEN (I think I’ve spelled that right..?) on guitar! Elton John’s occasional guitarist, and an amazing guitar player for so many genres. Holy wow, what a freaking band! Jorgensen‘s is amazing and this band really cooks they sound great.
@@camroncreative wow that is awesome! I’m taking piano lessons and I’m learning Elton John songs, how did you start learning? I would love to be able to play like you do!
@@romanzzland I just learned listening to elton and billy joel.. then sitting at a piano ... I am a guitarist.. so I took what I knew there and just applied it to the piano
here's the thing.. I can sing it exactly like the record.. octaves for me aren't difficult..but that would be rather boring after 100 performances or so... to sing it exactly the same way every time..so I just sing the song the way I feel at the moment. Just like Elton would never sing it the same way twice.
I don't think we can ever be better than the real thing.. if you point is .. I get that you are saying Elton now has changed... but he's still the originator of this great music and song... so we are just a really good copy of the original. I think when I hit up in my 70's I'll have to change the way I do the songs too.. but all of this shouldn't take away from Elton's credit... He's a legend.

Great backing band. Bass player knows his Dee Murray, strings superb, and backing vocals sound too good for live recording. Wow!
great arrangement ... 😊

Good point but I kinda wish he did push it.
@@rjpg at times I do push it.. on the rock songs.. like Saturday or Elderberry Wine.. but most of the time it's about finesse.
If you come to the San Francisco area, I will definitely come to watch your show.

Bassist damn near nails Dee Murray’s studio cut, harmonies are spot on as well. Very nicely done.
Sounds great. Groove is happening.
Wow - what a perfect performance guys! Great mixing (best yet!) and video relays! Ron and Matt are particularly scary good! Keep up the great work!
Freaking Completely Awesome
Just so good guys, you really brought the spirit here.
Elton John without the tantrums. Brilliant.

Wow, I didn’t realize until now that Dana Carvey was the lead singer of the Elton Rhon cover band. That’s awesome
That would be Elton Rohn not Rhon
Whatever
Brilliant!

It's not JJ, but this guitarists is talented as well.
Brilliant.
Real live strings?!? Oh, I'm so there!
Great job
Good job!!
How did this guy learn piano? He’s very good!
HI, I'm self taught.

Very good. The backup keyboard player is off on the timing of the flute at the beginning of each verse- but otherwise excellent.
Not enough octave changes for me, but all in all, great performance

This is amazing!!! It's literally way better than Elton John is right now.

Not sure I understand this comment post...
Taron Egerton's rival.
Too bad Taron can't sing.
