The embroidered eyes make such a difference in showing the character and soul of your bear!! Thank you for sharing your special technique with all of us. ♥️🧶
I love the versatility of embroidered faces as you can really create the personality, you make it look very simple, it can be quite tricky to get it just right. Practice makes perfect, this is a great and useful tutorial. That bear is so cute, I want to make a bear now.
Thank you so much, this video has helped me so much! Adds so much more expression, and each one different! Like the others have said, this has changed my plushies so much! ❤
Appreciate you taking the time to show your technique. I usually do only 3-4 passes to make the eyes - more passes do look better. My eyebrows never look even. Thanks for tips.
Thank you so much, Cassandra! Those eyes give so much warmth and character to your bear. I really appreciate the tutorial! He's so adorable! Wishing you a blessed New Year.
Thank you so much for this very easy to follow tutorial on how to add adorable eyes to any Amigurumi animal. They are absolutely adorable and perfect!! 💗🧶💗
Fantastic Cassandra 👏 Thank you for making this tutorial. Now we can all have perfect eyes without the extra cost of buying them. And your bear is so fancy in his yellow sweater 😀
Thank you for showing us how to embroider the cute eyes and features. It adds so much character to the little bear. I will definitely be trying this out 🧸😊❤️
Thanks for showing us how you make these amazing eyes! I like them so much more than safety eyes. They have so much happiness and life in them with the little white accents. ❤
Thank you for this fantastic tutorial Cassandra! I absolutely loved it - super clear instructions with a brilliant demonstration 😊I can’ wait to give this a go myself on my next project 😊
This is an amazing tutorial. I honestly had it in my head I couldn’t do cute embroider eyes but I just finished the eyes you showed us on the toy for my niece and it looks so cute! Thank you so much!!!!
THANK YOU for this tutorial!!!!! I#, currently making an amigurumi for a friend and thought I'd try embroidering the face - I've done it before on other projects but never been happy with the finish. The eyes on this one are almost PERFECT and it's all because of you!! No one else has explained it as well as you do. I'll email you a photo once it's all finished because I'm super proud and want to show off!!
I love this Xs infinity!! 🥰 I will be sharing for sure. I've had several viewers ask for a tutorial, and your eyes are just perfect. I have struggled with the little glint in the eye. Thank you for sharing your cute embroidery eyes! 🤟🏻
This is amazing thank you so much! I’m making a little amigurumi stuffy for a friend baby and I didn’t want to use safety eyes. These are SO much cuter than safety guys could ever be 😍 It’s so simple but so freaking adorable! Thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for the tutorial! You make it look so easy. I'm definitely going to give it a go and fingers crossed my eyes will look as good as yours. Happy New Year!
Thank you so much for this tutorial, Cassandra! It’s my goal in 2024 to work on embroidering the details onto my amigurumi. Your video was super helpful! 🩷👏🏻🐻
Hello, Cassandra! I was just thinking about this yesterday! Thank you so much for this tutorial!! Your work always looks perfect and you are such an inspiration. Hope you and your family have a blessed New Year!🎉🥰
Thank you so much for this tutorial! You have made it easy for others to create super cute eyes. It looks like you created the nose in a similar fashion to the black part of the eye. Am I correct? I can't wait to try your technique!
Thank you so very much for this tutorial! I was sent over by Litsa @Cocos Crochet and Julie @ksmomcrochets. Oh my goodness is this a game changer for me! I have never been able to make eyes on amigurumi and have had to use safety eyes. I was making a baby toy and needed an alternative. I still need some practice but I think it worked up pretty well considering I'm not use to embroidering at all!! Thank you so very much!
This little bear so cute and I love his yellow sweater, it is my favorite color. I can’t wait to make a bear and stitch the eyes. I thank you you so very much much for doing this tutorial. Also could you tell me what bear pattern this is. Thank you!
Thank you 💕 The pattern is from a little booklet that was gifted to me from a friend in the UK. It is from Sirdar yarns, so unfortunately I'm entirely certain where to find the physical booklet. I did see a pdf of the booklet on the sirdar website: sirdar.com/en/products/all-dressed-up-2
A fellow Gautenger! I grew up in Krugersdorp, but spent most of my adult life in Pretoria and finally Hartbeespoort ❤️ Always nice to hear from fellow SA crafters 😊
I just found you!!! loved the embroidered eye video!! you are a great teacher. do you show us how to make the bear too? i'm not sure how these sites work when i subscribe. i'm such a newbie.
Thank you so much for this tutorial ! Can't wait to try it ! :) If I'm not mistaken, you insert the thread in a hole, do the embroidery, then pull it out the same hole ? Won't the thread become loose ? I mean, you make a knot so it doesn't unravel, but how do you make sure the tension remains in the embroidery ? Sorry if that doesn't make sense, english isn't my native language lol
Thank you 🌸 Yes, I insert and come out again at the same point to tie off. Because the yarn has been back and forth through the yarn and stuffing so many times, I've never had an issue of losing tension or become very loose 💕
Thank you so much for this video! I didn't want to use safety eyes for the grandbabies and your embroidered eyes are so cute. Do yo have a pattern or a tutorial for the bear?
Thank you very much 🌸 The pattern is from a little booklet that was gifted to me from a friend in the UK. It is from Sirdar yarns, so unfortunately I'm entirely certain where to find the physical booklet. I did see a pdf of the booklet on the sirdar website: sirdar.com/en/products/all-dressed-up-2
This is super cute, thank you for the clear tutorial!! Quick Q about the fastening off, i noticed some people after tying the knots will thread the 2 strings through a needle, go back through the hole and out the other side to hide the tails in the yarn...is that more secure than just tying a knot and cutting, or is the latter secure enough? Thank you!
Thank you 🌸 Both ways would work, although the first might give a little more security. I have not had any trouble with thread coming loose and affecting the look of the eyes, but of course it's always worth being safe rather than sorry 😉
@@craftablyeverafter Thank you! I'm. going to try it your way as i'm using thin cotton thread so weaving through 2 layers of thread is creating some holes 😭
This video changed my life! No more safety eyes for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
The embroidered eyes make such a difference in showing the character and soul of your bear!!

Lovely tutorial! What ply is the yarn you used? How many strands?
For the eyes I used a fingering weight cotton yarn (#1 weight). I'm not sure what ply that is (it has 4 strands) 🌸
