  • Originally forecast for high overcast VFR became IFR to 800 feet after a “look-see” initial approach into the terminal area. Fly along on this IFR flight in the Cessna 310 as the change in conditions is managed and the type of approach is changed to RNAV 9 for 28J. This was another video that was hung up in QA due to time constraints. QA is me, LOL. Enjoy!!

    My opinion. Your soothing, professional voice is clearly part of your military training and mojo. You fly a "regular" airplane that normal people can afford. Your professionalism, skills, experience and kind heart make you, truly, a GA Evangelist. Lean into this brother and don't tap the brakes, you are better than you know and you YT potential is unlimited.

      You are so right regarding my Brother, Art. I flew with him once and watched and listened to him navigate us through an unexpected weather situation--he actually helped the atc's guide other aircraft through/around it. It was amazing. Consummate professional; competent & calm...feel like I'm writing a military eval report! :-) Peace.

    Beautiful sunset shots. 😊 They reminded me of our flight back from New Orleans in a T310R in the late 2000s (2008?), heading to San Diego (KMYF). Love the glass avionics in your bird... looks very nice in there.

    Impressive how much has to be working correctly to fly through the clouds. Thanks for capturing this!

    It looks like one from your video archive (only 1 Aspen). Not sure why you said that wasn't one of you best landings as it sure looked fine to me. One day before I'm too old and have to hang up my spurs I hope to put 28J in my log book. It looks like a great airport. Thanks again Art for taking us along.

    Great landing Art. I lived in Palatka for about a year and spent a few hours at Kay Larkin just hanging around .I had a student license at the time. Thanks for the ride and I’ll probably hitch a few more in the future. Mike

    I have a question why do air traffic control try to talk so fast when they are giving instructions that you have to repeat?

    • @billinga
      @billinga  7 місяців тому

      The phraseology becomes second nature to many but whenever instructions not heard or understood, I always say please repeat or announce "student pilot" to make communications more explicit and slower. Thanks for watching. Cheers!!
