I don't know anything about Xbox games but games usually come to the PC as some point. After the PS5 launch Square announced that FF16 was being developed and would release at some point. This is how it is on PC. It's Xbox alone that doesn't get much of their games at all.

For years Xbox has been trying to get a better foothold in the Asian gaming sector by developing relationships with the devs primarily of Japan without much progress. And behold Xbox gets (buys) Tango that not only provides an IP that's good but wins awards. Proving Xbox is also good for Asian devs. But no... Greedy ass Microsoft Gaming kills said Dev and gives some BS gas lighting reason why. So if I were CapCom, I would figure well damn why even bother with a corporation that shows so little respect. So if you think Microsoft has no fault at all in being passed over, that's Non sense.
@@awes5709 This started waaaay before Tango Gameworks, it started even during the OG Xbox days, Japanese devs skipping Xbox. And there's a fairly good reason why, Xbox has almost no market penetration in Japan, and it isn't for a lack of trying. With the Xbox 360, the amount of exclusives signed by Xbox specifically targetting the Japanese market, was substantial. From JRPGs like Blue Dragon or Lost Odyssey, to cave shooters like Death Smiles or DoDonPachi, and the list goes on. But even with all of these exclusive games, and Microsoft pushing Xbox into the Japanese market, they didn't sell more than a million units in Japan. Ironically, the Xbox 360 now has a cult following in Japan, due to the amount of exclusives aimed at the market, and the prices have skyrocketed. I don't know why Xbox was never succesful in Japan, maybe there was bias against a foreign console or maybe the negative connotation with the letter "X" in Japanese culture has something to do with it.
But to a Japanese developer, their core audience is (for the most part), Japanese gamers, and when almost no one in your own country has that console, it makes some sense to skip it.
I'm tired of random games skipping the Xbox console. Also Xbox needs to fo better job at marketing their console and games, but also push more hardware sales around the world, especially in Canada and Europe. Gamers can buy amazing console with great games and value especially gamers on a tight budget especially in United kingdom, Italy, Greece and France.
I think they’re trying to push a bit into the Japanese market atm.
I have both systems(xbox&ps) , if gamers want better games and more choice. Buy both systems.
I have the main 3 and my Switch gets way more play. Having them all when possible is the best option.
Honestly every game should be available to all no matter the platform I play on pc ps5 series x but I love them all

I think they do. But their custom MT framework engine that has been depreciated internally at Capcom, except for legacy systems and PC, does not work on Series X/S.

Totally agree with modding that modders deserve to be paid. People can just stick with the main game if they don’t want to pay. Don’t hear people complain much about fortnite costs for skins etc
As someone who owned a Saturn and a dreamcast specifically for these games, this hurts . I bought MVC Origins on the 360 day one. Whatever the problem is, they need to work it out.
Folks who got the premium edition, we got 1000 free credits. The Vulture creation can be added and works as a dlc, so it does not count as a mod, and you keep achievements. Yeah I have 2300 hours in since early release!

Me being optimistic, wouldn't it interesting if the reason why the Capcom compilation game was skipped over XB was because of some future "exclusive" compilation.
It's a bit of a stretch but sort of like how there's no FF7 Remake on XB and yet Crisis Core still came out on XB.
Plus there's OTHER old Capcom games, remakes and compilations that came out in the past!
So there HAS to be reason why such an OBVIOUSLY multiplatform game was CONVENIENTLY skipped over XB.

Final Fantasy boycotted XBox = flopped
Helldivers 2 = flopped. It was only saved by the PC community, PS only would have flopped too but now Sony is requiring PSN account so PC players are jumping ship

Not sure why developers dropping Xbox is surprising, Xbox simply doesn't have enough consoles in the wild and with their strategy of games on all platforms there is no incentive to purchase an Xbox over a PC, PS or Switch. I don't think Microsoft really cares about the console, and the Xbox division is only all in on Gamepass. Honestly, next gen Xbox is likely the last one for Microsoft, I'm certainly not going to buy one, just going to keep upgrading my PC.
Capcom usually get lazy when it comes to there remastered collections and give the bare minimum I was piss the last time I purchased the street fighter anniversary collection if felt like it was just ported over no effort I'm not upset about the Marvel vs Capcom collection at all
I can not stress this enough!!!! CONSOLE NEEDS MORE MODERN ERA OPEN WORLD MILITARY STYLE SHOOTERS !!!!!! Friggin tired of combat games being only pvp and ww2/cw era combat , yes arma has reforger on console but we need a modern open world military style shooter game with a campaign customization options , an AI QRF/MEDEVAC and a pilot that takes us to drop points for objectives and EXFIL if we choose to use it , thats upgradeable over time in a skill menu even ,Air/ground support also , something that allows us to experience as an Elite PMC with a few AI squad mates that can be commanded together or seperate or 2 out of 3 etc.. , or play co op even to . With a main base of operations , supply drops vehicles around the map , yes theres ghost recon but for some reason ubisoft struggles to create storylines and objectives etc.. that stick to special operations missions and such ... SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN since Sony and XBOX both refuse to do something themselves for whatever foolish reasons 😢!!!!!!
Remakes maybe, remaster NEVER, only STR8 content for our STRAIGHT money in our free time in our short time on Earth
im tried of developers making versions for the ps4 yet leaving xbox out, its also tiring that we barely get any exclusivity really it just feels like theres no reason to not just save for an ps5 nowadays

Not sure how a game like M vs Cap is difficult to port over to Xbox when it’s such a simple game compared to the vented out there.
The assumption seems to always be sales are a one way transaction. Like Xbox isnt telling these developers “no, we don’t want that. Our players don’t show much interest in those types of games” You even admit that you don’t play them. Maybe Xbox is the reason these games are not going on Xbox.
playstation 5 sales held back games when they were new and hard to find because everybody was still on playstation 4 (think cyberpunk), now xbox shot themselves in the foot putting out a lower performance console for the next generation which is holding games back now too. Xbox needs to switch to more cloud-only games for the S, unfortunately if we ever want to see this problem gone

Marvel won’t be on Xbox or PS5 because of the MT framework not being supported on on next gen hardware. Xbox one adopted this early on, hence no back compat workaround.
I don't understand Xbox's theory of having an Xbox s series and x series. If you want to offer a cheaper platform, that's fine, but don't make your more expensive platform suffer over it. Just doesn't make any sense to me.
I belive the Capcom collection is coming to Xbox, they are leaving money on the table otherwise. Probably some last minute t' and i's to be ironed out.
I hope so. I still plan to buy multiple iterations of it anyways.
@@Yenko420 yeah I was going to pick it up on switch to play on the go and hopefully xbox since it's got the best controller (for me in my opinion) for fighters.
They really screwed the pooch with the Series S. Don't get me wrong, it's a good idea, and they did a lot right. The CPU was done right, and the GPU is fine for what it's for, but they really screwed up the system memory. That's the main problem with developing for it, and it's a really stupid mistake, when you get the main components right. If it just had 16GB of system memory, none of this would be an issue, and it would only be about scaling the graphics resolution, LOD, etc.
This is the first game I've been excited about buying and playing launch day in YEARS. It really fucking sucks that it won't be on xbox, and I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft's rules on dei, curvy chick's, sweet baby etc wasn't playing a role.
Hell look at Capcom's recent massive survey which showed that gamers want fun unwokified games, which is the opposite of xbox's current wheelhouse. As someone who has owned every xbox since the first, I'm starting to think Playstation is where I'll be able to go to get all of Sony's 1st party games and most of xbox's. I grab a dongle to use my xbox controller on a playstation and I think I'd be totally OK
Xbox needs to be able to launch PC games. No need to make two versions of a game.
That's not why Wukong isn't coming at launch.. It's because the greedy devs company wanted xbox to pay more for the same game at launch and Sarah bond said that's not happening.. Hence it's coming at a later date.. Not a Series S issue.

You have access to xbox games on your pc with Ultimate. You're really missing out. There are a lot of great games on gamepass.

Main reason I refuse to buy any “Creations” is that most of them disable achievements. Like that is so stupid to me, especially for things like new quests or player houses.

This isn't an Xbox problem, it's a Capcom problem.
There will be no native PS5 or Xbox Series S/X version of the game.
The version available on PS5 will run in BC with PS4, meaning that you get none of the performance advantages of the PS5.

Has nothing to do with companies decision to skip Xbox it has to do with PlayStation paint companies to skip Xbox. This came out a while ago and the company accidentally leaked the information the conference station between them and Sony and they asked them to skip just like Sony is shipping Xbox on the new LEGO Horizon game This is something that PlayStation does and they’ve been doing it for quite a while now they pay the game companies to keep games off or just hold them back for a while acting like they’re having development issues and other problems. It’s pretty sad that Sony has to do this but it’s just something they have to do I guess.

xbox should start expand their sales to more area in asia to compete with PS5 instead of just focus on US, EU and JP.
Game developers purposely skip xbox port if their target audience is not US and EU customers.... this will eventually created huge game base different compare xbox and PS. new comer will eventually choose PS5 instead of Xbox.
but if you ask me, getting steam store and games run on xbox is a big win if MS want to put less effort to bring developers to xbox. If ur games can run on steam, that mean it will run om xbox eassily...make the porting process no brainer....

It's coming to steam, switch and ps4. No ps5 of xbox due to the MT engine this game is using due to xbox and ps5 no longer supporting that engine
It was a boring showcase. Only three good games shown. Hurry up and get steam on the Xbox, these studios have no clue what gamers want. Most indie games out now are better than the new AAA studio games with no substance.
I gave up Starfield. It got boring. Adding mods does not make it fun when it was boring to start with. If it was a fun game to start with I would’ve gone back for the mud.

@@nicholasbrown1436 why? and there is stuff to play, and you got the series S, that console is the worst… I had it and it failed my bad, I am I very very competitive gamer I can I confirm the ps5 is the best expecally with the high speed SSD, the features that it has with the dual scene edge with the good headset’s from PlayStation with a good VR system, I sometimes play stealer blade, horizon, spriderman, hod of war, helldivers2, granturismo7, that is some of the ps5 games that are fantastic for me!!, and if you want to say the Xbox is better then the ps5 in terms of performance and quality, the ps5 has a performance mode and a quality mode for a reason!!, and I’m waiting for the ps5Pro the best next console, Xbox is porting games, that helps with sonys hardware, great, and there is no Xbox exclusive games anymore, their is still lots of great games on PlayStation though!!, the ps5 can go up to 8TB of storage, and it’s powerful, is has VRR and ALLM, it records gameplay for you, it can record past gameplay up to 1hour!!, Xbox does not have those features, the ability to record up to 10min, haptics, they don’t have their own exclusive headsets or monitors or tv’s not a fast SSD, don’t have GYRO aiming, doesn’t have great software UI, that’s more complicated to use by 10percent, the Xbox doesn’t have VR, doesn’t have ALLM mode, dose’s have performance mode….
