With this type of "trading" or YOLO trading, a stop loss is useless, they stake too much to give their trade enough space to breath so they'll get stopped out fairly quickly in this system of trading where it can hit your stop loss in a second and then go in your direction but if they sized down, they can have a more suitable stop loss further away that will allow the trade to breath. Sure they're not maximising the upside but it's a long game, trying to go all in every time is the quickest way to blow your account😂

In my opinion, making a smart investment is not only a technique for earning passive income, but also a profitable way of saving for future expenses. People who fail to make the proper judgments early in life often come to regret it later in life. Nonetheless, investing alone can be difficult and risky. As a result, I recommend obtaining expert assistance (financial advisors). The challenge is not just watching videos and reading investing books; it is about implementing information effectively.

Just shows how some ppl doesn't know about options, buyer of options have extremely high risk and high rewards while seller of options have lower risk and lower rewards. But each unit of option represent 100 shares of any stock hence the win or loss is amplified by 100x. The guy who lost 90k likely suffered permanent losses as these options expires and hence he has no way or minimize his losses unlike stocks you can hold as long as possible to hope for a turn around... options are time limited.

as a profitable trader it is the most horrendous thing I could ever watch. It made me want to throw up, so emotional I mean the third guy even gave a small battle cry when he entered into a trade with “120” shares at .56 cents. Thats literally 230 bucks and he was acting like it was a huge trade. He ended up selling and losing, even when there was practically no risk. People that are emotional cannot be trading, you must stay absolutely unattached to money because it is the tool you use to earn and grow. Money is not the object of the game, it is the game itself. Being able to understand how, why, and when prices move... and how to capitalize on it.

It literally is gambling. The market is loaded the brim with seasoned veterans that have systems that give them a statistical advantage, much like a casino or an insurance firm has the odds stacked in their favor.
So, a newbie that thinks this is some happy-go-lucky game of tic tac toe, is literally statistically disadvantaged, in other words, guaranteed to lose money. I call it the "learning fee". Most people don't survive it. Those who do, wind up becoming the 1% of traders that make a cushy living from it.

Depends on your stage in life. I started my business by defaulting on maxed out credit cards, because 1st year traders will always suck and everyone has to start there.
Consequently, right about when the derogatory credit marks went away (7 years later), my business was flourishing and I was ready to transition into real estate. So, it worked out. Credit companies can't liquidate your shares, but your broker can.
Do not use margin to take a position that exceeds 100% of the account value. You need to ration your entries so you never do that. Once you run out of money, you can't average down. This puts the odds greatly against you, and if you owe the broker, they can sell you out at the bottom of the market. That's the exact opposite of what you want to do. Play small until your system works. Ration your orders.

I had a friend in college who started trading when he was only 18. Guy made enough to pay for his education and saved enough to buy his 1st car when he got his 1st job after MBA.
He still doing great. Now here's why he is so good at it consistently.
I once saw him having a smoke after class. He rarely smoked, so i asked him if its something special. He simply smiled ad said "I had a bad day in the market, anyway..." And he changed the topic.
After years i asked him abt the event, that day he lost 70% of his portfolio. The calmness is the key. He made back his loss in less than 2 months.

Yeahhh, "calmness" isn't gonna get the bills paid if you're taking too much of a risk. Your friend probably got some bail out money from mommy and daddy, in order for him to get back on his feet. I work in the industry. You either invest long term or be able to afford your losses on your "get rich quick" yolo bet.
