Watersnake T24 ASP Motor With Kayak Bracket: amzn.to/2vxqFLa
Watersnake Kayak Motor Bracket (no motor): amzn.to/2B0WVLY
Here's my very first impression of my new Watersnake T24 ASP electric trolling motor for kayaks. I just mounted it to my Sundolphin Excursion 12 SS recrational fishing kayak, and it was surprisingly easy. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
Wow, looks cool!
I can't believe that you did a review without putting it on the water. The motor is great , the mount gets about 5 out of 10.
I put mine on the right side and took the rod holder out and mounted it there. It was very tricky to put the nuts up underneath though. Also had problems with the steering at first and realized I had the tiller bracket on the wrong side.
*I bought this model for my 14 ft Jon boat. **enjoyable.fishing** recommend love it!!! It pushes my boat with ease ( 2 men 220 each). I would highly recommend this to anyone.*
Awesome, thanks
Hi Dan I take it by your accent that your Canadian -just a shout out from Australia -very informative video -waiting for your on water vid Cheers Mike
No, I'm from Maryland (mid east coast US)
Check out my "Outdoors" playlist for more videos.
Thanks man - I've been looking everywhere for those amp draw numbers! In case someone else is, Dan reports 17amps on high speed and 7 amps on low.
That's what it's rated for, but I can't swear that's actual draw during use.
Answered all my questions thank you sir
What kind of spacers did you use for the mounting and is it possible to put the screws in by taking out the rod holder and reaching in through there? Im hesitant to cut a hole in my sub dolphin
No, I don't think you'd be able to go through the small holes where the rod holders are. I just used regular washers and lock washers.
Nice, but why didn't you just put a round hatch back there?
pull the button to release the little handle on the unit :)
Couldn't you have accessed the mounting position from the nearby rod holder hole?
Can you tell me where to purchase a spare prop for the 18-24 lb. water snake

@@DanHiteshew-oneandonly thank you
Won’t fit a 30lb Mini Kota without some modifications
Have your mounting holes broken out?
No, I never had a problem. I used it like that for a couple of years.
I want to see it on the water.
Good vid. Not sure that I would cut a hole in my kayak especially Since I spent A pretty penny on it LOL .
Lol It took some serious thinking about it.
What brand and size battery did you buy?
I don't remember the brand, but I have a group 31, which is a bit big, even for the 12 foot kayak. The group 27 I have is more appropriate sized for it. Deep cycle marine battery, of course.
Thanks
Could I use well nuts to mount it?
I don't know what they are.
Wha...really the only difference between the Aruba and Excursion is a Rod Holder and the color? Knowing that it seems to me like Excursion buyers who don’t intend on using the rod holder got ripped off.
hi how much does it weigh?
It weighs 2.2 kg (4.8 lbs) amzn.to/2IFUVZW
pull the button down to release short handle
Upgrade the plastic nuts. I used stainless steel bolts with butterfly nuts.
Yeah, I've had to do that with some of them already.
Can you explain?
Sirve para motores de gasolina chicos 2.5 hp
I can't use gasoline engines on the reservoir I go to.
Este motor es para agua dulce o en salada
You should mount one on the other side too.
Lol I guess your other question is answered.
@@DanHiteshew-oneandonly I have the 12' excursion in green on the way from Amazon. Is there a livewell on board?
@@PanfishingJournal No, there's no live well. It's a pretty basic model. Kayaks with live wells are much more expensive.
@@DanHiteshew-oneandonly thanks
Am I on drugs? That camera is tripping me out. And also......thumbnail polish?
Look up "polished man"
