I just bought a blue 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 700 with only 1,800 miles and 215 hours. Super excited about it! Haven’t looked at the air filter yet on mine but would you recommend this K&N filter setup for it?
The K&N filter has worked great for me. I like the ability to wash, oil and reuse! There are some varying opinions as to whether or not oil from the filter is sucked into the engine but I have never had any issues.
Grizzly is holding up great! The filter is designed to be cleaned. K&N does make a combo pack that has the cleaner and the oil, i found mine at autozone but here is a link to Amazon. Did you have to spray the oil after the first install or just after periodic cleaning?
The filter comes pre-oiled, no oil is necessary for initial installation. Clean and oil as needed.
Is it ok to run just regular E85 in a Grizzly 700? Or is a higher octane needed?
I’ve never used E85. Regular 87 octane is what I use, seems to work fine.

i just looked at mine and there was no filter just the plate lol im doing the same thing ordered a k&n, do you still have the grizzly
