Good video. You are missing two vent hoses. They feed up through that small bracket to the right of the main air intake on the cover (the one that is held down with the six clips). Not sure what they vent but one is clear and the other one is black. If you look you will see the colour coded markings on the cover I was talking about. it is common for them to work their way loose and fall out of the bracket..They should be easy to spot. Just feed them both through that bracket and tie them off with a tie wrap or something..
i haven't driven my grizz in a year, if a mouse has found it's way inside, is this where it would be? i have heard of mice making nests in bikes if they sit to long, is this where the nest would be?
Hey good video man, I Change my oil every 500-600 klm and clean my air filter at the same time, Keeps your bike running good ! Those foam filters dry much faster then my K&N (I have a cleaning video on my channel) I have to let mine dry for 24hours.... thanks for sharing !
Well done. Have never done the solvent treatment before, always hot water and soap. Are you using kerosene as a solvent? Not sure what this is. Looks like it works great.
What a great idea I'm sure a lot of people would be helped by this. now if you could only teach your father how to clean the fuel filter in his scooter. lol
I use non flammable brake cleaner to clean mine. Then air dry. After air dried I hit it with air filter oil
Thanks for showing this, really helps to actually see it done.
This is awesome! There needs to be more griz 700 vidz!

Love the video, I'm a little late to the party. Just picked one of these up. What type of rear seat setup is that?
Very helpful. I have a 2009 550, and I doubt the air filter has been touched. What type of solvent do you mean?
You can actually buy solvents with a hight flash point. Thats all i used.
Is that a GPS holder on your bars? What make model, where to get Etc. Tks

I noticed the filter was in 2 pieces on my 2014 the filter is one piece do you know why this is ?
What did you clean it with before the rinse? You only said to get something with a "high flash point." What does that mean? Some sort of degreaser?
Sam Porter petrol or gas as Americans call it
Cool stuff.
Just use petrol mate cleans a lot better
