#18 Fencing our Portuguese property, tracking our dog and renovating our van

In this week's video I finish off the fencing on two sides of the property, I reused some of the metal vine arbors as fence posts and used the granite posts that were already around the perimeter. In total around 50m of fencing. We've made good use of our Tractive Dog tracker and have used if for over two years, there are others out there that we have not tried.

Good to see another video from you both. Great work on fixing the fencing and, having an escapee dog of my own, I completely understand the need to fence all-round the boundary. There are plenty of climbing plants you can get to grow up it which will bring a positive light to the garden, plus add a huge amount of privacy when you're in your garden.
Many thanks for bringing Tractive to my attention. It's exactly the sort of thing I've been looking for!! It's weird how it's not come up on my searches before now.

So glad that STUMP didn’t STUMP you Micheal 😂, too easy 😁. Now I know what Mila has been saving all her strength for ? Escaping!!! , yes I think is easier to position the fence in place and tension the whole length from the one end , then secure to each post. A big improvement Michael all the same if keeps Mila safe 👌🏻, nice refurbishment of van too 👍🏻, take care & catch ya time time.

I love the stone wall. Your fence work still allows you to enjoy it and your views. Are you aware that the ivy will grow so big that it will wreck the stone wall? The ferns would never be a problem and they sure look good. Good job to have the fencing done. A big job. Even better job on the van. That's great. Best wishes.

I've used a very similar fencing here in South Africa, but it's galvanized, not coated. I haven't seen that here but my fencing has really impressed me and is still looking amazing after almost ten years already.👍
