Just signed on to "Christian Warrior Training" this morning and this is my second video. I'm impressed, and I'm at an age where very little makes an impression. Being a Christian and a Vietnam Marine veteran I have a deep appreciation for your commitment to keep Churches safe. I can tell from your sincerity this is "your calling". May the Lord bless you and keep you safe.
Thank you. As an old retired SWAT guy, it's easy to recognize the validity of your presentations. I always had a Go-bag while working and find that to be a great practice to continue in providing church security in daily life these days.
I've got that same bag in Black. I carry ear plugs in my pocket at all times. Protecting your ears can keep you more aware than others that their ears are ringing. This is provided you have the time to get them in.
"It's overkill until you need it", spot on brother. No one ever said, after a gunfight, "I wish I hadn't brought so much ammo". Also, I agree 100% with prevention. You win every single gunfight you don't get into.
That’s pretty well thought out. I e been an officer in Texas for 40 years, what you’ve got there is not overkill, it’s preparedness. God bless you in your ministry for preparing Christians.
Love it. I appreciate what your doing makes me realize I need a war bag. Am a retired NYS CORRECTION officer 25yrs andv5yrs on our special unit cert. Am currently working as a Resource officer in the schools in Florida. Am on our church security team and your training is dead on thank you.
Always good to know what others put in their go-bags, sometimes the simplest things you don't think about, like the energy bars...great content, keep it coming brother..!!!
Good info. I keep med supplies in a bag stashed away at the church. Lots of gauze, half a dozen tourniquets. My personal bag has a tourniquet and gauze, spare pistol mags but not a backup pistol. Shame I have to buy another gun….👍🏼
Carried a similar bag when I was on the job. Of course back then we carried revolvers and shotguns were patrol issue. I kept extra speed loafers and ammo for both in the bag along with med supps. Also kept snacks and thermos of coffee in the unit. I've now started carrying a go bag and long gun again when I go out. At church its parked 15 ft away and I'm armed inside the church with the pastors blessings
We have a large security team at our church. One of the members is a state police officer SWAT member, too. He carries the same items as you. His 5.56 is a collapsable version. Nothing is "overkill" in a mass shooting event. I'm a retired municipal officer from a very large SE Texas city. Great video.
Keith your videos and training are invaluable. I'm a member of the security team at Charleston Church in Charleston Maine. If you ever get this far north we'd love to see you.
in my bag, in addition to what you have flex cuffs(x3), chem lights(x2), door jambs (x2). the door jambs are to shove under a door to control entry or exit from a room. I keep a door entry device, 50 foot a tubular nylon for a hasty stretcher or drag strap, and a chest rig in the car.
Great content. I have lots of gauze, multiple tourniquets, chest seals and and quick clot. And, of course, extra mags. Hadn't thought of the meal replacement bars.
This is good stuff. Thanks. I talked to my Pastor today about getting a triage bag and a defibrillator. I will be visiting a local police department to see if they have any interest in working with us to train on how to de escalate and other things we may need to know before we need the training. If not I will copy your training videos. I will also be going to our local fire department to see if they have any place we as a very small church (under 40) can get a break on the cost of a defibrillator. Thank you so much for all you are doing. May GOD bless you and all your family.
Most of us have more than one pistol today. My old Glock 19 has been back to the plant twice for a rebuild. Even though it's not my favorite, I'm as good or better than most on the team with it. And several on the team have 17 or 19s, so I started carrying my 19 and carrying 3 mags instead of 2. The pistol commonality would help under a multiple attacker scenario if an additional mag is needed or shared to stay in the fight...
You should learn to replenish your G19 by yourself...At some point the factory won't be there and for less than $100 you can have all the parts and pieces needed (in your Go Bag) to make it new...
I really enjoy your videos and information. I'm a former law enforcement officer and I agree rather have it and not need it then need it and wish I had it. Thank you
I like the idea of removing the Israeli bandage from it's packaging. I'm going to do that, but I think I will put it in a zip lock bag so access will be easier. It'll stay cleaner and won't "unwrap". Another great video. Thanks!
Better to have and not need than to need and not have. Appreciate you sharing your knowledge and training for free. I am having rethink my war bag. I took a weekend course in Fort Worth Texas in "Stop the Bleed" which I have medical supplies but no pistol or mags, I carry a pistol though but going to rethink the whole setup.
Excellent recommendations. This is what I have in my kit, as well except for a spare pistol. I will put one in there. I tell my guys "Two is one and one is none" quite a bit. This is especially true for magazines and flashlights - something I was taught in Advanced Defensive Pistol and Defensive Carbine. At one point, we were all being trained in this direction. We were all licensed security officers working as volunteers through a security company. Several of us were scheduled for training as designated riflemen; I already had defensive carbine training, so I had the foundation. The church decided to drop the contract with the security company and go with LTC holders with members of the original Security Team as the core of new teams. It was a financial decision. If you cannot get the training you need with the church, get it on your own. Stay safe and stay alert, y'all!
I’m all over it sir!! Praise the Lord for protectors like you brother, I just joined the security team at my church and I am pursuing all the necessary training required. I’ve sent the link to your course to the leader of the ministry and I’m the second in command at this point. So I really hope he gives me the go ahead on taking your course to get that certificate and get additional training on top of that. At this point I’ve been taking the handgun and AR out to the range and zeroing in my sights and beefing up my setup for “whatever case” scenario regardless of the threat. You’ve been a major part of that process sir I love and appreciate what you do for us, in your service and through this channel thank you! God bless you brother!
I keep a ceramic rifle rated plate in my bag as well and it's a regular sized back pack so I can sling it reverse for coverage during an active shooter scenario.
I do the same irt a rifle not because we're restricted, I just don't want to cause a distraction. I had the same thought about sending someone to get mine if ever needed.
Go bag for me is very similar, extra mags, trauma gear; but I add a FT-65 HT amateur radio w/ charger and cig lighter adapter. Close to 200 frequencies programmed, including LE and emergency services. Comms is critical in my mind.
Thankyou, solid information. Currently do not have a war bag. Will be putting one together. Have a good first kit. Have G31 for conceal carry. Looking forward more content.
keep a gator aid in the bag also... water can get funky tasting after a few months going from warm to cold.. pair of gloves ( nitrile & or Kevlar) & eye protection!! great videos thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge/experience with us!!! be safe out there!!
Just found the channel. Leaving a comment for the algorithm for everyone else, and so UA-cam will keep showing me your stuff. Love the set up. But as a EMS guy I have to say that you need some wound packing material. Quickclot is great but regular s fold gauze is much cheaper and almost as effective. And it takes up almost no room.
My firearm is on my left hip. Two extra mags are in my coat pocket. More magazines are in the car. I don't have a rifle in the car, but your suggestion to have one available makes sense.
Just found your channel and liking the bag idea. My problem is I don’t have the manpower to have someone break off for a rifle in our parking lot. It’s a small building and on a great day I have three of us on normally just 2. I could however stash a bag with no weapons (ammo + mags, medical etc) in a semi-secure closet off the main lobby. Semi secure because it’s electronic keypad protected but our team isn’t the only one with access
Sad the world has come to this point. Great video wish we didn't have to go this way but it's happening time to take control of a possible bad situation. Glad you are on the right team. As I always tell people time is now to get saved in the blood attornment of Jesus Christ amen.
One thing I learned about bandages, add tabs of duct tape to the tear points in the wrapper. That way it's easier to open while remaining protected and sterile.

As always - appreciate your message. Especially your clear, concise way of helping us amateurs be better prepared. God bless.
Christian warrior is a churches trained angel!
Your videos are always a bit of an eye-opener. Thanks.

This is invaluable advice by a reasonable, experienced LE officer.
Well done.
I do security myself. Thank you so much for sharing...
God bless you all and protect our churches

I work armed security in town, little things like this that will improve our response to emergencies are always great to learn and be more prepared.

better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. excellent ideas and content. Stay Vigilant.
Fantastic information! Thanks brother, and God Bless!

Amen! Thanks for your help and guidance.
Nice to have extra supplies in the trunk of the car. Just recall to check the dates and rotate the ammo to keep everything fresh.
Very good instruction
Great information. It's definitely got a lot our church hasn't considered
Thank you for all your videos 👍🙏
God bless you all and take care!

Great video Brother, thanks for posting.
Respect, thanks for your protection. This is a perfect example of someone who SHOULD own a gun
I keep a ceramic rifle rated plate in my bag as well and it's a regular sized back pack so I can sling it reverse for coverage during an active shooter scenario.
Great advice. I hadn’t thought about having food, just some water. Gear evolution.

I have had one for several years with medical but never any extra mags. Always had 2 on the hip, but I am adding 3 to the bag, Thanks

My battle bag has gloves, Extra batteries for nods/ optics, 3m dust mask and tourniquet too. Some eye pro is something I've been pondering.
Love your training brother
