Hope this message reaches you, I've been watching hunting videos since there were only three to choose from, y'all's Crew and realtree have been great, and listening to you talk tell and show's me your words of life has got me to say you're more than a badass turkey hunter, thunder chicken's have no chance with you or me because I have put down every one, Texas boys can get it done son, but really your words are real, I think you're a preacher at heart. God bless the teachings you have received.

I love micheal Waddell. You are the real deal brother. A good ol' Georgia boy. It is my dream to go on a hunt with you. Or even shake your hand. I have been watching you since I was a young whipper snapper. Maybe one day, my friend. Good luck this year. Do good, and don't forget to give God the credit.

I feel I'm blessed by discovering your UA-cam channel. I admire your humility. I never hunted, but I would recommend it. *I do enjoy wearing camouflage. Best choice nobody forced me to try. The rest is history. God bless you Michael!!

As always, Michael, you've shared another great, inspiring piece. I have to say I'm always telling folks I had no personal mentors to show me the ways of hunting; I just up and started reading, watching old school television back in the 70's, and then headed out. I started hunting squirrels when I was 18, moved on to rabbits, then pheasant & grouse. I had to learn by trial & error and man, you don't wanna know just how many errors.. Lol Suffice it to say the school of hard knocks in the woods taught me a lot but the real mentors came in the form of all you hunters that have have been in the limelight who shared, (and continue to share), your own exploits with us all.
Ain't nothing better than to have folks like you who are willing to to not only share your hunts with us but also explain & teach what you all are doing while you're doing it. By the mid-90's I was doing ok as a hunter but when I picked up my first hunting vhs tapes, it was then that I really started to apply new tactics. As I'm sure you're aware, I became a huge fan of REALTREE hunts and then your "new" show, REALTREE ROAD TRIPS. Lol. Still wear my "Will Hunt For Food" hat, and of course I'm now a huge fan of BC.
Now here I am, age 63, a little worn out but still lovin' each new season, still watching all you guys & gals on the tube and gettin' PUMPED for turkey & deer! It's been a journey and it ain't over yet, brother! All I want now is to grow my youtube channel and share my own tips & views on hunting and sharing the Word of God. Wife & I are finally at a place where we can travel the country some and I'm hoping to get into some huntin' camps along the way and make some new friends with not only your everyday average Joe's but also guys like you, who have been such a huge inspiration to guys like me. Like I said, I may have stumbled through the learning experiences of hunting without any parental mentor types to help me, (and I've put my share of meat in the freezer and on the table) but it took hooking up with folks like you, Lee & Tiffany Lakoskey, Rick White, David Blanton, Bill Jordan, and a host of many others through your tapes, dvds, and tv shows to "round out my personal character" so to speak, because it's taken folks like you to make me really see and understand the bigger picture!
Someday, dude, I'm going to get a chance to shake your hand and thank you personally. I don't know how or when but maybe we'll run into each other by a campfire somewhere down that old road.. I love all you guys & gals who have taken the time to speak with us through your own experiences. We're with ya. 😉😎 -The Redneck Preacher

I love this and thank you for the advice. No I had to have cancer for the last four years. I’m not asking for sympathy just prayer, but live every day as if it’s your last and be ready to die. And whatever you do and if you’re ready to die, you can give it your best when I say when you’re ready to die, I mean with God.

Good information, everyone should listen closely and let it sink in, the world would be a much better place. I was given a piece of advice by my uncle years ago, never make a decision when your mad! Most of the time you’ll make the wrong decision!

Thank you for the words of advice.
Life is about the journey not necessarily the destination. We could be the best at whatever we do but if we treat others poorly none of the accomplishments will matter. No one wants to be associated with a stick in the mud where everything is negative. People will gravitate to people who are positive and see the good in the bad. Jesus hung out and led sinners to salvation, he didn’t go out looking for the pure. The Bagivat Guida states something to the effect “I am all the darkness and I am all the light” meaning I have the potential for all the goodness and all of the evil wickedness within, it’s what we put into the world and it is our choice.
I love what you have done in the hunting industry, the lessons the entertainment the love you have for hunting and sharing it with others via film.
    God bless.

You were talking about not using hen decoys. I do something a bit different, I'll talk 2 hens, one either side of a Jake 5 yards apart.
All I can figure out is that when the big old Tom spots that Jake hanging with the hen he's been chatting with, he cuts to the chase, and it's another hunt in the books.

Preston was right. I know people that are absolutely terrible callers, yet they get their gobbler every spring. These guys know the woods. They know the birds. They recognize the seasonal stages. Calling has little to do with their successes.

turle on the fence post, very original. Still waiting on some depth from your own personal experience. Once again you give no glory to our Savior. You are wasting the time to witness to your audience. To use your medifore, be a fisher of men--turtle, fencepost, are in between. Our mission is to save souls.
