How sad it is that these brilliantly written contemplations aren’t getting circulated nearly so broadly as the mindless drivel of modern pop culture.... I’ve been a subscriber for years and only discovered this site within the last few days. C.S. Lewis seems to have been inspired by God! Thanks to whomever thought to share these essays, you’re doing good work and shining His light for those of us who are looking!
if you like CS Lewis you should search on UA-cam for the following people whom you might find helpful and interesting as well Prof John Lennox ( he was actually present at Lewis's last lectures) Prof Gary Habermas ( NDE's and the "minimal facts argument" Dr Jason Lisle (Astronomy) Dr James Tour ( Nano tech and Chemistry) Dr Grady Mcmurtry ( archeology) Prof Stephen Meyer Trey Smith's video "NOAH" and "the theory of everything"
@@travelsouthafrica5048 Thanks for the suggestions. I am familiar with and love half of those - which is a good sign. The ultimate joy I get from these truths is that they would still deliver if I were the only person who knew them, which was not so with my previous views. Ok I made three replies let me know if you dont get three has been happening.

How people can not accept God is beyond me. But I understand where they come from since I was among them, at least those who denounce the existence of God but it took some time to realize that there is something beyond our own recognition of divinity. It’s too often that humans believe we are the “only”. Secular scholars for decades have tried and failed to understand why we were put here, indifference to God’s plan for all of us. We were made in the image of our Creator, to love one another, to pray for each other, to ensure our passage into the next life is straight forward but it will always be difficult for us because of our free will. If you are reading this, know you are in my prayers and may others’. I love you and Christ loves you more than I ever could.
“[Our human pleasures and worries will disappear] as a candle flame that has become invisible because someone has pulled-up the blind, thrown open the shutters, and let in the blaze of the risen Son.”
Yes! The sensation is physical agony & joy when the Holy Spirit reveals to me a Truth with understanding of Holy Scripture. Understanding is one of the gifts from the Holy spirit.
Lewis himself was as much an artist with words as the hypothetical artist he uses in his examples. He uses transposition to explain transposition and I think that it's brilliant!
32.30 Let us observe and explain the self-blinding that we are inclined to. All the logically-minded trolls out there commenting on popular sites are exhibiting some of those symtoms too. They think that faith is a problem , and they choose the paths that lead directly in an opposite direction. We taste and find that the Lord is good. It is a sufficient first step to want to want God, as St John of the Cross wrote.

Same here, UA-cam put these episodes on my suggestion list.

I only grasped a very small amount but I’m deeply indebted.

Higher dimensional things projected down into lower dimensions lose some of their magic but they still give us a glimpse of what is above
