Foucault was and remains in my mind the total ruin of hope where science itself is subjected to the scepticism of naturalism or modernism. Still going strong, this empirical obsession with our bodies and the larger body of matter. The real problem with all the post theories is the total loss of the subjective self suggests that there is nothing but the subjective. It eats its own rationality as it moves forward to uncover "pure" objectivity trough these subjective observers. I was told by my academic advisor that I "discovered" the major problem with the whole post modern thing. But here, before the turn Lewis has uncovered the same basic problem. The postmoderns, the post theorists in general are not as new as the academics would have us believe. This was my own focus in college This post theory world is not so new. Grief and battlefield rage (berserker PTSD) are equal in this too, a total loss of all hope. Watching the watcher watch the watcher until like Foucault the watcher is too stoned on hashish to move in any direction other than personal pleasure
THIS IS SO GOOD. I know everything he says here to be true at least as close as you can be. Yet I wonder what I say on my channel are fallacies. Of course I don’t want them to be. But I’m not CLIVE LEWIS. IM DARA DUFFY. DIFFERENT WORSE BETTER SAME.
