You have no idea If I were to find this video first for the fp30x it would’ve helped TREMENDOUSLY, thank you for the walkthrough and showing the app too. Most other videos skip over the features but this video really helped.
Whats ur opinion on this piano after 4months of usage? Thinking to buy this or kawai es110. I tried fp30x in store, action felt heavy but u liked it, it feeld overall good and make more challengy to play what's good in my opinion. But still im not sure for 100%.
I appreciate that! Sure I could have a lot more subscribers but that's not important to me - I have over 700 videos and never once do I waste anyone's time begging or asking for their subscription... I know I hate having my time wasted having to watch someone begging me to subscribe to their channel...
Oh you still check comments here :D Im going to buy my first digital piano in couple of weeks. Im an intermediate player. Played for fun for 10 years. I want 88 keys and good digital sound and playing. Do you prefer Fp-30x, yamaha p125 or the kawai es110? Ty if u have time to answer!
@@PianoManChuck This Roland just showed up today and it's totally wonderful, I cannot believe how much more fun it is to play than the Korg D1 I had, thanks for the review!
To everyone out there listening and thank you Chuck for all of your tutorials they are great. I'm finding that since most keyboards are made light weight these days, there is issues with the keybeds. Yes, I mentioned the keybed. Seems important since that's where the playing really happens. THE THUMPING SOUND after you press and release a key is dominate in these keyboards. I had to return the studiologic and Kurzweil PC 4 SE as the thumping, knocking sound coming from the keybeds is terrible. I had the headphones on and I could hear the thump, thump. Also the keys on the Kurzweil were HAMMER GRADED but with spring action so the keys were not the same feel. Yamaha keybeds on the 125 and the DGX-670 are much better. Much less knocking sound. Start at 9:38 on this demo and you can hear the knocking sound on many of the sounds he plays till 12:34. It's very common with these lightweight keyboards. Just a thought. THE KEYBED'S ARE NOT TALKED ABOUT ENOUGH AND THEY ARE 60 PERCENT OF THE REASON FOR BUYING A KEYBOARD. Is it Graded Hammer Action? IS THERE ANY KNOCKING/THUMPING SOUND WHEN YOU PRESS AND RELEASE THE KEY BEFORE AND AFTER PLAY.
I wish you'd mentioned the fp60x and fp90x and compared the three. Good point about the bluetooth being receive only--no bluetooth send. Thanks, Chuck!
Hi, Can you save a selected sound setting even if you no longer connect to the designer app afterwards? For example, if I turn the piano off and on again, is the sound still saved, even if I no longer connect to the app? And is the every Day app no longer avaiable for fp pianos? Here they say to use the piano Partner 2 instead 🤔
Loved the video thanks! I bought this a few months ago, I find that the cheap plastic music stand vibrates horribly when playing - The App has been updated to the "Roland Piano App" works fine for me, but I hear complaints about it, but take it as you find it. Nice keyboard, has the built in MIDI interface so makes it good to connect directly with your PC and DAW, nice instrument.
Is it possible to save in one of Roland's applicamines sound presets in a database that can be added to and retrieved from? And a second question, if I'm already connected to one of the apps and want to also connect to the mobile phone and play audio files or UA-cam files?
Hi Chuck..had to check in to hear some good tunes . I sure wish I knew how to play. Haven't been on U-tube for a long time but just played your CD the other day.. Are you sporting a new "Covid-moustach"? haha. Hope all is well.
I played the FP30X yesterday at guitar center and fell in love! ❤
Great great review. Really sounds good and all the new features wow!
Thanks Chuck ... one of the best channels on UA-cam
Thanks 👍
Thanks sooooo much Chuck. I was about to make a big mistake by getting an FP-30 used. I really need the FP-30X.
You made the right call.
Thank you. Your explanation of the apps was truly enlightening. And you play beautifully.
Thank you kindly!

I hope you can get a hold of the Kawai ES120, it should be a very close contender to this one.
If i would like to place it on a solid table, can i join it with external speakers such as iloud? thank you for your wonderful reviews.

Hes like a kid att the Candy Storé, I Łove it 😂😂😁😁😁👍👍👍
In your personal opinion, how does the sound of this compare to the kawai es110? Thanks
If this was available locally when I got the FP10, I would have bought this instead.
okay so i know that you are a big fan of the casio px560m do you think its a better piano ? what about the DGX 670 by yamaha if you have tried that ?

Welcome back! "Covid-moustache"... haven't thought if it that way but I suppose there's some truth to that!
Would you recommend this or the Kawai ES110? Thank you kind sir
Sorry Gustavo, its strict policy over here to NOT make recommendations.. Please review our policies at ua-cam.com/users/PianoManChuckabout
Sounds like
Casio Privia by Roland
And with Roland VST
Casio plastic 🎉
Hi! I'm a bit stuck between buying this or the Kawai ES110. Any suggestions?
